• The l/n clan and Revenge •

Y/n's POV

I was on my way back from a mission, and i to make two stops, first one at the library and the second one at the serpent estate. Why the serpent estate? Because i need to steal Obanai's snake. I got my crow back yesterday, now it was revenge time.

I walked into the library, and looked around for someone so I could ask them.

"Welcome to The Sakura Library! I'm Chiyo and how may I help you?"

Someone had suddenly appeared behind me, I'm pretty sure they saw me flinch. They quickly went to behind the counter.

"I'm sorry for scaring you and howay i help you?"

"No problem and do you have any books on the l/n clan?"

"Yes! We have two books, one on the whole clan, and the other one on the last leader, l/n Manjiro."

"Oh can I get both of them?"

"Are you researching about the l/n clan?"

"Yeah." I half lied, i wasn't exactly researching the l/n clan, i was researching l/n Kaede.

"Oh my father was friends with l/n Manjiro, if you want more information you can always come to my house!"

"Oh really? Thank you so much!"

This was it, if i never understood anything I can always come meet Chiyo, whose dad was friends with l/n Manjiro.

"Just come here any day, i work full time, i can take a break and take you to my house, i can't right now as i just came back from my break."

"Ohh sure! Thank you!"

"Visit again!"

I took the books and left the library, Chiyo is a nice girl, i really appreciate her help.

I had reached the serpent estate, and i had to check around to see if Obanai was awake, it's pretty late, so he should either be on a mission or be sleeping. But if he is on a mission, then Kaburamaru is with him that means I have to try again some days later.

I checked in his room to see that he was asleep, i quickly snatched Kaburamaru and ran out of there as fast as i could. I slowed down a little after i was far away from the serpent estate and could see my house as it wasn't that far away from my house.

I looked at the snake to see that it had woken up, I mean anyone would if you suddenly grab them and start running.

"Good morning Kaburamaru."

It just hissed back in response. What was I expecting it to do? Talk and say good morning y/n?

I reached my house, got changed and went to the living room to see the snake patiently waiting for me. Maybe I should get a pet after this.

I sat down and looked at the two book, the first ones title was "The Tale of the l/n clan" and the second ones title was "The life of l/n Manjiro"
