Today was a fairytale, because for the first time, i completed my mission without any injuries, and i rescued a cat!
But i don't like cats, so i don't know what to do with it. Plus it's injured and i can't take it to the butterfly mansion cause Shinobu hates cats.
I continued walking to my house with deep thoughts about the Cat and Food as I was hungry, and I'm sure that the cat was hungry too. But what food do I give to it? Well for starters I know cats drink milk, but I don't think it will be full by drinking just milk.
Once I reached home, I quickly gave first aid to the cat and gave it some milk. The cat was really hungry cause it finished the milk in 2 minutes. I was still finishing my udon noodles.
After finishing my food, i went to Mitsuri's house because i remember her telling she owned a cat when she was a child.

So after I arrived at Mitsuri's house, she was really happy once she saw the cat and she asked me if she could name it and I said yes.
She named the cat "Mochi" because she likes Sakura Mochis a lot.
I also asked her if she wanted to keep it, but she said no as she already has a rabbit and bees.
So I guess i was left with no choice but to keep Mochi with me. I don't really like cats but well.

While Mochi was asleep i went and got all the necessary cat things for it. It looked so cute while sleeping, it fell asleep on my rug and i didn't want to wake it up so i didn't move it on my bed either.

As it's still asleep, I decided to go to the Library and research about cats, and that would also be a good excuse to meet Chiyo.

Once i arrived at the Library, I was greeted by Chiyo, and she was really happy to see me again. Both of us had become good friends, cause when i wasn't able to go on missions i spent my time at the library or my house with Chiyo.
"Soo what brings you here today y/n?"
"Well i have a pet cat and i don't know about cats so I'm here to read about cats."
"Wait what?"
"I have a cat pet cat and i don't know about cats-" before i finish i was cut off by Chiyo's loud squeal.
"You. Got. A. Cat. OMG I WANNA SEE IT CAN I???" she said jumping up and and down.
"Sure, you can come with me, and since you love cats so much while we walk there, educate me."
"Yes! Thank you! I will! Just let me lock up first." She said and went to lock up the library.
While i waiting outside, I got a lot of stares from the commoners, is it because i have a sword with me? No wait i kept my sword at home and dressed as a normal person, then why are people staring at me?
Once Chiyo was done, we both started walking home, i hope Mochi is still asleep cause if it's awake then i will feel bad that i left it all alone.
Chiyo went on and on telling me every single detail about cats, and then it hit me.
"Hey Chiyo, do you want to keep Mochi?"
"I'd love to, but I already have 4 cats, I can't get another one, I'm sorry."
"I see, no problem."
And she continued to talk about cats.

Once we both reached, I checked up on Mochi to see if it was still asleep and it was, so I'm glad. But when Chiyo saw it she started squealing like a maniac and that woke Mochi up.
"I'm so sorry for waking it up."
"Oh it's fine."
"Omg Mochi is so cute, also it looks like it is a girl. Imagine her getting pregnant and giving birth to 4 small kitties. You can name then after Mochi flavours that will be so cute-"
She went on and on again, i zoned out after 4 small kitties. 5 cats?! How am I supposed to take care of 5 cats!
After Chiyo stopped we both had dinner and i gave done cat food to Mochi.
Chiyo and I played with her for while and then Chiyo left.
Today was indeed a fairytale.

But also funfact i HATE cats but i still wrote this.
I was originally gonna write it about a husky puppy but then realised it would be too much of a pain once it grows up to be BIG dog and even problematic for a Hashira.
