Kristoph Gavin is at his table in his office, fingers clasp as he rests his chin on his hands. The man is reviewing through evidence and testimonies as he feels like something is off about the case entirely.

Papers and images are scattered on his wooden table with some books opened for reference with the only images being the crime scene floorplan, the supposed murder weapon, and the bucket.

The blonde man is wondering how he can get his client declared innocent of all charges without suspicions. He knows it would be difficult considering the prosecutor is Miles Edgeworth himself, he will never let him off the hook that easily.

"Perhaps a little visit to the crime scene won't hurt."

[10:00 AM - Ivy University Dormitory - Fine Arts Dept.]

Kristoph raises the barricade tape saying 'INVESTIGATION IN PROCESS'. He couldn't care less for some yellow tape in the way. While on his way to the primary crime scene, he is stopped by a detective.

It's a broad man sporting a moss green overcoat with a beige button-up and red tie. A pencil is tucked behind his left ear, signaling he has been taking notes concerning the crime scene.

"Hey! Watch where you're going, pal. This is a closed area," he orders.

Kristoph stops in his track and greets the man with a smile, "ah, Detective Gumshoe. That's not how you treat a guest."

Gumshoe scratches his head, "well sorry, pal. Orders are orders. Mr. Edgeworth said to not let the attorney into the crime scene at all."

He continues, "it is kinda weird though, he usually lets them walk around to look at things but it was a firm order this time."

'Oh? He saw it coming, I see. As expected from him.'

Kristoph tries to reason with the himbo detective, "I see, that is indeed strange. Does he not trust me enough for me to just look around and view the scene? I can assure you I won't touch a single thing."

Gumshoe pauses, "w-well, look. I really want to help you but Mr. Edgeworth is very keen on this one, Mr. Gavin."

"So he doesn't want me to discover something from this crime scene. Doesn't that sound unfair to you, detective? It would also hinder my investigation, which might lead to a wrongful sentence," The man in the dark blue overcoat smiles.

It seems to be working based on Detective Gumshoe's thoughtful look.

"You're right... Maybe he's trying to hide something from here. I'll let you over if you promise not to touch a single thing from the scene," he whispers in the last sentence.

Kristoph reaffirms his statements and the detective lets him pass into the studio.

Kristoph enters the crime scene. Not many investigators are present at the time, perhaps they have finished their investigation yesterday before the trial. This makes it easier for Kristoph to peek over items.

First things first, he goes to the west side, heading towards the victim's workspace.

It is a cluttered mess, with acrylic paint splotches nearly everywhere and brushes still in the pot of water. Some are even left on the table. Sketches and paintings scatter across the L-shaped table with barely any space left.

Upon skimming through the wooden table, something catches Kristoph's eyes. It's a small silver picture frame, and in it are three people in what seems to be an amusement park.

The man looks behind him to make sure Detective Gumshoe is not in the room before picking it up. It's about the same size as his palm.

All three people have funky glasses like stars and hearts, one of them wearing mouse ears and headbands. The person on the left is the victim, Amy Stake. Her face is smiling while her right hand holds a cup of water while the other arm is at the back of [Y/N] who stands in the middle. They're wearing star-shaped glasses and look very happy in the picture.

The person on the right is unrecognizable to Kristoph, perhaps it is the missing 'roommate' they're searching for. The person is tanned and androgynous for him to determine the gender. They have a medusa tattoo embedded on the left side of their neck.

'How sorrowful,' he thinks. 'So an assault survivor is our mysterious roommate?'

Kristoph silently slips the picture frame into the inner pocket of his overcoat, 'this could come in handy.'

He continues to look over the victim's workspace. Among the messy papers, a ripped envelope can be seen. Kristoph also takes it for him to inspect, it's a letter stamped by a big corporation focusing on fine arts.

The letter inside slowly slips out, he unfolds the paper to read the content which states an acceptance into the said company. this letter is also slipped under the previous frame.

Kristoph continues walking towards [Y/N]'s table at the furthest north of the room.

The table is less cluttered than prior, however still a messy one. Not much acrylic paint is spilled but the artwork is scattered on it. Most of them are stacked and kept at the left end side of the oak table while the work in progress sits at the furthest right.

The man peeks over the artwork to look at the empty space beside it. As expected there is a ring stain, marked by paint from the use of the bucket.

Before he could inspect any further, Detective Gumshoe barges into the room.

"Mr. Gavin, Mr. Edgeworth just called me and he's going to arrive in 5 minutes! Uh..." He panics.

Kristoph slightly laughs, "not to worry, detective. I know an exit to avoid his path."

He walks over to him, thanking the detective for letting him 'investigate' the crime scene. Gumshoe nodded with a quick 'yes, sir!'

Kristoph exits the crime scene and returns to the detention center to meet with his client.

Revised. Do note that I won't be changing much of the sentence structures, it's still the same as before with minor adjustments.
