Chapter 3- Music is life

This song always gets me in my feels and reminds me of a boy I used to know.

Years ago I met this boy who was cute.

We were both 9 years old and we sadly only met once.

I didn't even get his name.

We spoke the whole day and it was such a blast. He found me sitting in the city park and decided to talk to me.

But I never saw him again

So Slide Away by Miley Cyrus is really relatable in my life.

So anyway the reason why Michael has been haunting my brain is because he seems oddly familiar but I can't put my finger on it.

"Stacie hello I've been trying to talk to you for the past 30 minutes now." My bestie Alexis says while bringing me back to Earth.

"Yea sorry what were you saying?" I say sheepishly.

"Unbelievable you were listening to deep music again weren't you?" She questions with her eyebrow raised.

Not my fault music is life
Try listening to deep meaningful songs for a change.

"Yea." I tell her.

"Well what do you think is up with Michael suddenly caring about you?" She asks me.

"He could be an Alpha werewolf and I'm his mate." I say with a serious face but my voice is laced with sarcasm.

"Sarcasm isn't required here lady." She says while raising her eyebrow further.

Dang it She knows me too well.

All of a sudden my phone dings

TEXT MESSAGES BETWEEN STACIE AND *UNKNOWN*

Stacie- Who is this?

Unknown-Hey there Moonwalker 😉

Stacie-OMG Michael Jackson is this you😍

Unknown- You got my first name right ✅

Stacie- I know it's you Michael Williams 🙄

M.W- How did you know 😳

Stacie-I didn't 😏but how did you get my digits?

M.W- For me to know and for you to never find out.

Stacie- 😒🙄 What ever just slide away.

M.W- Back to the ocean I'll go back to the city lights.

Stacie-So won't you slide away?

Stacie- I approve of your music taste Mr 👌

I send that message and put my phone down only to see that Alexis is giving me a mysterious look.

Not good

"And?"I ask with a cautious look.

"So Mr Williams huh?"She says while wiggling her eyebrows.

"Shut Up."I tell her off.

"Yea sure and try to pry that smile on face off." She yells before running out of my room.

I didn't even realize that I was smiling.

Oh lord Michael isn't good for me

Yea I think I may or may not have used too much Miley Cyrus in this chapter 😅

I'm currently listening to this song and I just really wanted a chapter between Michael and Stacie and this was just sort of a filler chapter but no worries the book picks up next chapter.
