"He what?!" Kylie squeals.
"He got tickets for the five seconds of summer concert. And backstage passes!" I say excitedly.
"That's so adorable! Those must of cost so much."
"I know." We are just like we use to be, talk about everything, get excited about everything. We aren't glued to each other like we use to be, but we are still really good friends.
"That's so thoughtful of him. Does he even like 5sos?" I shake my head and she laughs. "That's true sacrifice right there. Going to her favorite boy band for their one year anniversary." She leans back in her chair. We're at a Starbucks around campus. I take a sip of my decaf latte. "I wish Kevin would do that for me. But he is boring and just gets me flowers." I laugh at what she says.
"Wait..what am I going to get him? What he got me must of cost so much." I think of all the things he loves. He likes baseball, the Yankees, and video games.
She shrugs and looks down at her phone. "How physical therapy going?"
"Terrible. I hate it." I said and take a long sip of the hot coffee.
"You have to do it."
"You sound like Harry." I groan.
"Well, you have to do it if you want to be back into softball."
"You and Harry could be like twins on this topic. It hurts doing it, the stupid band is like fucking ripping my ACL again." I hear the door ding and I look up to see Harry walk in.
"Hey." He walks over to were Kylie and I are sitting. He pulls a seat over and I smile.
"Is this a headband?" I laugh as I run my finger along the material around his head.
"Yes." He joins in.
"Hey Kylie." Harry says and Kylie returns a smile. "How softball going?" He ask politely.
"Good. Sarah tells me we could be twins when it comes to the topic of physical therapy."
"Why?" He questions raising a eyebrow.
"Because I keep telling her she need to do it, and she doesn't want to do it." I'm motioning for her to stop talking. I hate this topic so much.
"Sarah, are you doing your exercises?" Harry turns to face me and I nod. "No you aren't."
"Okay. I'm not." I admit and he just laughs it off. I hear the ring of the door again and look up to see who it is. Shit. Okay. It's David, but not only him. It's David and Lexi. I hear Harry groan when he sees who it is.
"Who's the girl?" Kylie ask.
"Lexi, Harry's ex." I just realized something. Both of our ex's are in the same room as us.
"Great." Kylie says sarcastically. David looks over and smirks.
"Look who it is. The three musketeers." David laughs and Lexi joins in.
"Fuck off David." Harry growls and David only laughs harder.
"Well I'm going to go.." Kylie says awkwardly and stands up from the table. I say goodbye and promise I will text her later. The she mouths "Good luck" to me.
"So, how is everything?" David questions, he is just trying to annoy us. And its obviously working.
"Good." I shift uncomfortably. David looks at the crutches and back at me.
"What happened?"
"Nothing." I start to move away from him. He clutches onto my arm and I can basically hear Harry's thoughts. I can tell he is mentally cussing him out and beating the shit out of him.
