"ZhanZhan". Yibo said entering the room
Zhan was working when he recognized the voice and realized it was Yibo standing there in front of his desk.
"What do you want?"
Zhan said in a cold tone which made Yibo feel suddenly more furious than what he already was.
"Zhan, I think we need to talk"
"Talk about what Chairman Wang?"
"I told you to only call me Yibo"
"We're at work, so no I can't call you that"
"Fine then"
Yibo went towards Zhan and grabbed Zhan's arm pulling him towards the door to leave Zhan's office.
"Let go of me!"
"You said it yourself, that we're at work"
"What do you want to talk about so bad? huh!?"
"Chairman Wang speak then!"
"Zhan, whatever happened back then was a mistake and now we're in the present"
"You think it's so fricking easy to say, but in reality, it's not mostly for me who was cheated on!"
"I didn't cheat, it was a misunderstanding Zhan"
"So, you and that guy kissing was a "misunderstanding"?!"
"Yes, it was"
"You're so full of yourself Yibo, you think THAT was a misunderstanding!"
"Zhan calm down"
Yibo tried comforting Zhan, but Zhan kept pushing Yibo away making Yibo slowly tear up and begin to sob as he knelt down.
"Please Zhan, forgive me and let's start again"
Zhan bent down to reach Yibo's level and went closer to Yibo's ear.
"I'd rather be arranged married to a random man than go back with you"
Yibo eyes teared more and looked at Zhan who stood back up and grabbed his suitcase and left the room.
"No, you won't Zhan, you're mine only mine". Yibo whispered as he whipped his tears
Zhan continued walking towards the elevator and as he entered the elevator, he suddenly got a message from Yubin. Saying what had happened in Zhan's office but Zhan made up a lie, so he didn't have to explain everything because at this point Zhan was tired of Yibo and his begging for forgiveness.
Zhan headed home early and when he arrived home he went straight to the bathroom and got ready for bed because he was sick and tired of Yibo acting like it didn't hurt Zhan so much to the point where Zhan stopped eating for weeks on end until Haikuan who was his childhood friend helped him overcome the horrible break up. Zhan looked up towards Haikuan even though he was 3 years younger than him, Zhan still respected Haikuan and felt blessed to have an amazing friend because Haikuan helped Zhan overcome the breakup and showed him that Zhan could continue life without Yibo.
That is the reason why Zhan hated seeing Yibo because Yibo was the one who almost made Zhan lose his life over the breakup and Zhan remembers the advice Haikuan gave him 2 weeks after the breakup.
"He broke your heart once, and if you take him back, it's basically giving him another bullet to shoot you again"
"So, if you think you'll survive the other bullet then go ahead but if you know well in your heart you can't manage the pain then change the fate"
