In this chapter Gus is 4 and you are 3.

M/N had just given birth,and once her and F/N heard the news,they both were unsatisfied, mostly because their child was a hybrid, but also a girl.
"We can't have a hybrid! It's going to ruin our reputation!" F/N said.
"And its a..a disgusting girl!" M/N replied.
The child started crying,but none of them bothered to take care of her.
"Let's just let her grow a bit, and we'll abandon her." F/N said.
"Oooh! I like your thinking!"

It was a stormy night,people running away was unacceptable. That's why M/N and F/N brought 4 year old Y/N to a forest,to abandon their own child.
"M-mama? Papa? You no hide!!" The child begged,but no sight of her parents.
"Mama? Papa.?" " Tears flowed from the child's eyes.
Just then she heard a twig break.
"Mama? Papa!" The child said running in the direction of the broken twig sound.
Just then she bumped into someone,but that someone,was not her mama or papa.
"Mama Papa!" The kid said.
"What?" A man asked.
"You not...."
"Waaah!" The kid tried to run away.
"Shhh,it's okay,it's okay." The man said grabbing the girl by her arm.
"Mama!" The kid yelled trying to look for her mom,but no sight of her.
"Shh..better now?"
"M-mama..." The girl started crying again.
"Nonononono! Don't cry!" The man exclaimed.
"Mhh.." The kid said falling asleep.
"Gus,can you carry the syrup?"
"Yes Pubba!" Gus said running up to the man and grabbing the basket full of bottles.
The man got up and carried the girl to their little house, setting her on the bed.
"I'm gonna go get some things for dinner, take care of her Gus,she's just like you,a hybrid that can talk,got it ?"
"Yes Pubba!" Gus exclaimed.
"If I hear a growl?"
"I will duck!" Gus ducked.
"If I hear a voice?"He looked outside
"I will run!" Gus ducked once more.
"If I see a human?" Pubba asked looking at Gus.
"I will hide!" Gus ducked again.
"And if Pubba goes out and doesn't come again?" He adds.

(I know it's not in the movie,but bare with me plz <3 )

"I will..go out and look for Pubba!" Gus exclaimed.
"No Gus. 'I will stay home,and wait till Pubba comes home' Got it little man?"
Gus simply nods and sits down on the chair near the bed.
Pubba left with the now empty basket,and closed the door behind him.
"Mm.." The little girl said.
Gus grabbed a cup of water from the bedside table.
"Mama?" The girl asks.
"Hi!" Gus exclaims,their foreheads were inches apart,Gus had a big grin on his face.

"Y-your not Mama!"
"C-calm down! I don't know where your mama is!"
"So she's gone?"
"Yes, but Pubba's gonna be here soon with dinner!" He said.
"O-okay."

Soon enough,Pubba came with a basket full of eggs,vegetables,berries,and a duck.
"Oh,you're up,good." He said.
"A-are you Pubba?"
"Yes." He replied,washing the vegetables.
"Why you take me to house?"
"Because if we didn't, bad people would find you, and hurt you."
"What's your name? Gus asked.
"Y/N L/N I think.."

"Happy 7th birthday Gus!" Pubba said handing him a bag.
He opened it in excitement.
"A dog!" He exclaimed happily.
"What are you gonna name him?" Pubba asks.
"I'm gonna name him...Dog!"
"That's a perfect name for a dog." Pubba said.
"Actually,I made you something myself!" Y/N said running to the bed,pulling a small bag from under the pillow,handing it to Gus.
"Open it!"
Gus opened the bag,inside there was a cute small stuffed animal that was around the size of Gus's arm,it was a mini deer.
"Woah."
"You made that yourself Y/N?"
"Yeah!"
"Good job!"
