Your POV

"Gus...?" I asked.
The eggs fell on the floor, I saw Pubba laying motionless.
"Pubba! " I yelled running over, clutching his hand in mine.
"Please wake up, please! This isn't funny!" I said shaking him.
I looked at Gus but he just shook his head.
We were alone, in the wild..

A few years had passed, you and Gus had it going pretty well.
Except he was a little... You get what I mean.

(IDO T MEAN ANYTHING INNAPROPRIATE,I MEAN HES A BIT DUMDUM.)

"Come on Gus! " you said wanting to hurry to get syrup.
"Just a second! " he said setting traps for intruders.
You both went in your ways.
You had syrup and food duty while he had garden and cleaning duty.
You struggled using the syrup screwdriver (idk it's name-), it's tip snappen in half.
You grunted, kicking the tree.
On the other hand Gus was struggling in the garden.
Some dry vines seem easy to get rid of right?
Wrong.
Gus was bending it in every ways possible since the sheers snapped due to how rusty and old they were.
He grunted, rushing inside and grabbing a lantern.
He threw it on the plant, along with his weasel animals.
"Stupid goat!..." He grabbed his stuffed dog but hesitated.
"Stupid dog! " he said throwing it in the now big fire.
"..... I'm sorry I'm sorry! " he kept repeating as he grabbed the dog and plopped it in a water bucket inside.

You were happily walking home, when you smelled smoke.
You sniffed the air a few more times, then heard a twig break, you got on four paws and ran home.
You go inside and locked the door.
You arrived so fast you didn't notice the fire outside.
Gus was crying next to the water bucket.
"Gus? " you said walking up to him.
"Don't touch me! " he yelled.
You walked back, laying on the bed.
You noticed a map with a '♡' marking the spot, taped to the bottom of the top bunk.
"Hey Gus? " you said taking the small map.
"Hm? " he said, still crying.
"What's this? " you asked walking closer to him with the map in your hand.
Gus looked at it, then at something around his neck.
He gasped snatching the map from you and running out, you followed not far behind him.

You both got to a tree where he dug.
He reached a black box and unlocked it with the key around his neck.
In there were some weird hard pieces of plastic, some cool green papers, which you stuffed in your pocket and more things, like keys, a photo and-
Wait a photo?
You pulled out the photo, looking at it interested.
"Mama." Gus whispered.
Your ears twitched.
You got up and Gus as well.
"We have to go.. " he said.
"Wait.. " you said spotting some yellow paper on the ground.
You crouched and grabbed it, sniffing it.
Opening the wrapper, you stuffed it in your mouth.
The sweet flavours of the soft but hard substance mixed in your mouth.
"Mhh.. " you hummed looking around for more.
Gus spotted one more and walked up to it.
The wrapper moved and two men suddenly immerged from some bushes,grabbing you both.
"See?! I told you! " one of them said.
"Yeah yeah. " the other replied.
He looked somewhat...familiar..

(WINK WINK HEHEHE)

"Let us go! " you hissed.
They whispered to each other.
"Do you know how much females are worth since they can reproduce?! "
"Yeah I heard the bi-" the man was cut off by a loud 'boom' as Gus called it.
You both screamed, and covered your ears.
A big man came from behind a tree.
O e of the men ran away, dropping Gus.
"Th-theyre mine, you can take the boy but im-" the man tried to say but got cut off by the strange man shooting him in the shoulder.
The man ran terrified, letting you go. You feel and hit your head, which caused you to faint.
Before closing your eyes,you saw a big figure approaching Gus.

Gus got ahold of you and ran home.
He hid with you in the staircase.
"Y/N, Y/N! " he whisper-yelled to you to try and wake you up.
The door burst open and the man was inside.
Gus tried his best not to make any noise.
The man opened the door and pulled you and Gus out.
He set you down on the bed, and Gus came and covered your ears.
"No big booms..! " he repeated.
The man went outside and did some work on the garden.

Gus was on the roof and hit the man with his slingshot.
You ran out the door.
"Gus! Oh thank got you're o- AH! " You screamed once you saw the man in the garden.
"Chill kiddo, I'm not gonna hurt you. " he said finishing some stuff.
He left and Gus got down.
"Come on, hurry! " he said dragging you inside and handing you a tool belt that had some stuff and a bag attached to it. You followed Gus outside the fence and down the cliff.
You spotted the man and screamed at the top of your lungs.
"BIG MAN! TAKE US! "
