"Here" Izzie said as she handed Sienna a drink "Mer insists we drink along with her while we clean."

"Drinking and cleaning haven't been the best mix with me before Stevens I ended up vacuuming up the drink itself so put it over there and once I get the stairs vacuumed I'll drink it then." Sienna said pointing over to the counter top.

At work Meredith asked Sienna to come and help clean in preparation for Derek's mother coming the next day. Even though it seemed to be Sienna, Izzie and Lexie were doing most of the cleaning while Meredith sat nursing a bottle of tequila and freaking out, Sienna didn't mind.

Sienna started vacuuming when Derek walked in the front door. "What is going on here?" Derek asked Meredith as he took off his coat.

"We are cleaning for your mother's arrival." Lexie said as she passed him with a feather duster in her hand.

Sienna stopped the vacuum. "Hey you'll be just under our feet here why don't go to Joe's with Mark?"

"Why are you here?" Derek asked as he watched Meredith take another swig of tequila.

"Well according to your girlfriend I have a great taste in homeware and I have a cozy apartment so I dragged Lexie along to help also." Sienna said before she hit the vacuum again.

Derek rolled his eyes "I'm away to Joe's I'll be back in a few hours." Meredith just stared into space holding on the bottle for dear life.

Around 12:30am Sienna and Lexie had finished cleaning and had now joined Mer drinking. Izzie was going around get rid of things that Meredith asked her to.

Sienna and Lexie were sitting on the floor, Meredith still hadn't moved off the chair, Alex, George and , crazy Sadie had now joined them in the living room, and were getting entertained by Meredith freaking out.

"Ten bucks says she tanks in the first five minutes." Alex commented.

"I have faith in Death." Sadie boasted

"She's holding that bottle of tequila like it's a life vest." Lexie said as all of them watched Meredith.

"Mer Don't listen to them. She'll love you." George encouraged.

"No. Mothers don't love me.
Mothers like bright and bubbly and happy and... Izzie and Sienna." Meredith said as Izzie walked in with a box of cleaning supplies "Mothers love Izzie and Sienna."

"They do. Mothers do love Izzie." Izzie repeated with a smile.

"Speak for yourself my own mother doesn't love me that much." Sienna remarked as she downed the rest of her drink. Lexie laughed at Sienna.

"What it's true."

"Uh, I stashed all the tequila, took the condoms out of the cookie jar.
I replaced all your trashy magazines with issues of Annals of Surgery.
OK?" Izzie listed off.

"OK." Meredith said as her voice shaked.

"Does it smell musty in here?" Izzie said as she sniffed the air.

"My mom's house smells like peppermint. It's homey." George remarked in a tone of happiness.

"My house isn't homey?" Meredith jumped.

"I was raised in a hell hole this place is a palace." Alex remarked

"Why isn't my house homey George?" Meredith started to panic more

"It's just a feeling!"

"Izzie can't fix a feeling!" Meredith said emphasising on fix

"She's freaking out. Tell her something I can fix."
