Y/n's pov
"So cuttte", The love pillar exclaimed. She was letting the snakes in my hair and of course the little guys enjoyed her showering them with love. Each day she started talking to me more. It;s been a past couple of weeks now. Now she joins me by the pond whenever she has free time. Her shy timid personality now outgoing around me.
"Do they have names", she asked. "No they don't" I answered causing her to let out a gasp. "They need names", she stated. "Let's see this one should be named Akemi", she began naming. "This one Aiya", she continued. "This one is Eri", she said. "This one Hajime", she named. "And this one should be....Hikaru", she exclaimed finishing naming the snakes in my head.
"I won't remember their names", I stated. "You will eventually", she giggled. "How would I be able to", I questioned. "By looking at your reflection", she answered. "Right", I said in an emotionless tone, but on the inside I was cursing at myself for being so stupid.
"Why", I questioned. "Oh because you can never really forget a name after hearing it a couple of times I think or does that", she began explain causing me to shake my head. "Why are you talking to me", I questioned now facing her. "Why am I talking to you", she repeated. "You are a Hashria and I like to talk you", she smiled. "Really that's all", I questioned not believing her. "Please don't be sad it's true", she reassured me waving her hands around slightly.
"I-I also think you're mysterious and cute", she admitted her cheeks turning a bit pink. "Cute", I questioned my eyes widening a bit. "Mhm", she hummed nodding her head quickly. "Are you just saying that", I questioned. "NO", she shouted making me and my snakes jump a bit. I watched her not knowing what to do. No one has ever called any of my physical features cute. Suddenly she quickly stood up off the grass.
"I-I got to go see you soon Y/n", she quickly said then ran off. I watched as she did then turned back around to look at myself in the pool reflection. I pet one of the snakes in my hair, I think that one is Eri. She really thinks I'm cute. My chest started to feel weird so I grabbed it. What was this feeling? Am I dying, no, it didn't hurt, it feels good? I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a familiar crow call. I held up my arm, making a place for my crow to land. My crow landed right on top of my arm, it's talons digging deep into my skin, but not enough to hurt or pierce my skin.
"Y/N L/N", they announced. "Here are your orders! Head to the forest west of here slay the demon that resides in it", they ordered. "Consider it done", I replied. I lifted my hand to pet the head, but the bird flew off my arm before I could. I lowered my hand not letting myself be saddened by not being able to pet it. I stood up then adjusted my weapon on my side. I took one more look at the pond then began leaving the place and headed for the forest west of here.
