The poor childish turtle was pacing the lair for over thirty minutes now, stressing about Y/n. There should be no reason for him to stress but he is stressing. He hasn't felt like this since he met April. Now that Y/n is in the picture, she is one of his main priorities. He wants to make her a very important priority, more than pizza and video games.

He thought about her every hour, wondering what she was doing. Mikey guessed if she was working, playing with her ferret, hanging out with Casey, or doing parkour around Manhattan. "Why are girls so complicated?" He asked himself. "Not that, but why is it so hard to keep her off of my mind?"

Mikey admits that he does feel differently about Y/n than he did with April. Only this time, he was more nervous than ever to see her again, but he was eager to see that gorgeous face for another time.

There's gotta be a way for him to talk to her again without stuttering and making a fool of himself.

Michelangelo walked to his section of the lair, one that he shares with Raphael. The young mutant sat at his drumset that was decorated in handwriting, stickers, and just a ton of dents in the body of the drums. Sighing out deeply, he gripped the drumsticks in his hands, clicking them together as he thought and thought of so many ideas.

Then, the lightbulb went off above his head with a funny grin on his face. "I got it." He got up from his drumset, and headed to his bed, he dug out all of the garbage and unorganized things scattered around the area. Mikey took a few minutes to find what he was looking for, yet quickly had it in his hand. It's an old iPod he used to play with.

Thanks to Donnie for installing outlets in the lair, Mikey brought the device to life with a charger. Once it turned on, Mikey organized a playlist for Y/n to listen to. He thought it was appropriate for Y/n because she's a dancer and every parkourist needs a good playlist to listen to.

After arranging a good list of songs for her, Mikey wrote on a sticky note to leave a very nice message for Y/n. Once he was done, he rushed out of the lair to go find Casey's apartment since that's where Y/n is most of her time.

It's too bad Y/n wasn't home at the moment, so Mikey took advantage of this and knocked on Casey's living room window, finding the young man cooking himself some dinner. "Hey, Casey." Mikey waved through the glass.

Casey wiped his hands off with a dish towel and quickly accompanied Mikey at the window, lifting it up to let him into the cozy home. "Mikey, hey. How are you?"

Michelangelo slips in, shutting the window behind him. "Good, man. How about yourself?"

"Good. I'm just making some dinner." Casey gestured. "What brings you here?"

Mikey didn't say anything at first, he only brought out the iPod from his pocket. "Well, I wanted to give this to Y/n." He says, setting the iPod on the counter. "It's a playlist I whipped up. I figured she would like some new hits, y'know?"

Casey nodded, thinking it was a good thought and gesture from him. "I think she'll enjoy it. But she's gone out to get groceries. Y/n may not be back for another hour."

Mike nodded, wishing he could still see her. "That's totally fine. Uh, is it too much to ask for you to make sure she gets it?"

The hockey vigilante felt like it was no problem. "Yeah, man. I'll get it to her." He paused, turning his attention to the cooking meat in the pan on the stove. "Hey, did you want to stay for dinner? I think I made too much."

"Won't Y/n eat some?" Mikey questioned, leaning over the kitchen counter with his left elbow.

"She wanted to eat something else tonight," Casey says. "She's even thinking about becoming my roommate. So, you'll be able to see her as often as possible."

That sounded great for Mikey. If Y/n is thinking about moving with Casey, then, yes, he will be able to see her frequently. And this meant that he didn't have to sneak around her current apartment where her parents are. "That's awesome, Casey. And sure, I'll stick around for dinner. Thanks."

Shortly after Mikey and Casey wrapped up their evening with spaghetti and meatballs, the mutant left in a hurry before Y/n came back to Casey's apartment.

When she walked through the door with a few full plastic bags, she set them down on the floor. Y/n walks to the kitchen and Casey points out the iPod on the counter which is waiting to be picked up by her.

Y/n grinned when Casey mentioned it was from Michelangelo. She thought it was very kind and sweet of him to bring her something like this. The note that is stuck on the screen read:

"𝙳𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚖𝚞𝚜𝚒𝚌 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚜 𝚗𝚘 𝚝𝚘𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚘𝚠 , 𝚈/𝚗. 𝙷𝚘𝚙𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞'𝚕𝚕 𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚗 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚢𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝 𝚠𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚍𝚘 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚘𝚞𝚛. 𝙷𝚘𝚙𝚎𝚏𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚢, 𝚠𝚎 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚐 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚊𝚐𝚊𝚒𝚗 𝚜𝚘𝚘𝚗."

~ 𝙼𝚒𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚕𝚘, 𝙼𝚒𝚔𝚎𝚢, 𝙼𝙲 𝙼𝚒𝚔𝚎𝚢, 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚏𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚍 :)

The girl chuckled, turning on the piece of technology and finding the playlist Mikey had arranged for her. The first song she heard was one of her favorites, and she was starstruck to know that Mikey knew it too. "No way!" She giggled, jamming out to the lyrics and the rhythm. "Mikey knows (artist, band name, orchestration)!"

From the living room window, Mikey stood on the balcony, chuckling at Y/n's excitement. He thought he did a great job since Y/n was laughing as she danced to the music.

"Well, done, Mikey..." Michelangelo mutters before climbing the apartment building and disappearing into the night.
