Birthday Present

When I woke up it was around 11 am. I walk into the kitchen and say good morning to Mikasa, sit down, and eat the breakfast she gave me. After, I sat on the couch beside her, not even bothering to focus on the television as I fantasize about the ocean
"Eren.."
"Yeah?"
"Are you.. Dreaming about the ocean again?"
"...yes. I want to go so badly"
"Well.."
"..Yeah?"
"for your birthday, I was thinking you could go."
"What? Really?!"
"Yes."
"I'm going to the ocean?!" My face lit
up. "Oh my god I can't believe-"
"-But" My face fell to a frown. "Armin and I have to go with you" My face started to glow, even brighter than before, and I jumped off the couch.
"Seriously? Armin can go too?! This is going to be the best present ever!" Mikasa smiled.
"Good, because I already bought plane tickets. We're going tomorrow"
"REALLY OH MY GOD I.." I felt my eyes water. I had always dreamed since I was a little boy, but when our parents died we didn't have the money anymore. "I can't believe.. Mikasa thank you so much!" I hugged her and sat back down, dreaming of what I was going to do there. After, we called Armin, and he came over to spend the night. 'I wonder if the water is cold.. Will I see fish? How big is it?'
//a few hours later
"No! I totally won that!"
"Lair! I was the one who got across the finish line first." I stuck my tongue out at Armin.
"I suck at video games!" There were a few moments of silence and we both started laughing loud enough for Mikasa to text me to 'quiet down' so she can sleep. We giggled softer and I crawled on the top bunk with Armin on the bottom, both of us still giggling and laughing. We talked about the beach, and planned what we would do there. What kind of fish would we see? How long can you stay in the water? Will Mikasa swim too? Can we get a boat and ride around?' We both got hungry later and got a midnight snack, cold pizza obviously, before falling asleep.
