The next few days we explored and went swimming. Armin had to wear lots of sunscreen because he was so pale. Today there was suppose to be a storm, so we went to the beach early. When we got there we all applied sunscreen and got in the water, making sure we kept an eye on the sky and wind. After a while we got caught up and forgot about it. It had been a few hours by now. Armin and Mikasa were splashing, and I saw something strange. I thought it was a big fish, but I shrugged it off, thinking it must have been nothing but shadows. We completely forgot about they storm. I was swimming pretty far out, and Mikasa called me back when it started to rain. We stayed in the sand under the umbrella, expecting lightning, so we began packing up. Turns out it was just a little rain. It was sunny again in less than a few minutes. We rented a boat again, this time going the opposite direction. I chose to go the way I saw the shadow out of curiosity. It didn't seem to be anything. We were far out at sea. Mikasa decided to go further than last time. Then the storm came.
We were too far in to get back, and we tried to get out go the way. We drove as fast as the boat's motor would allow, and it started raining, hard. Waves crashed, rain poured. Water started getting in the boat. Armin was bucketing it out, Mikasa was with the motor, and I was using an oar to try and help. It was getting dangerous, and we could see shore by now, but we were pretty far, still. Then a wave crashed, and knocked me over the boat, into the water. I immediately held my breath, squeezing my eyes shut in the salty water. True, it was calmer than the wind and crashing waves under, but more dangerous because of the back-and-forth currents, pulling me deeper. Though i couldn't hear the waves crashing, or Mikasa and Armin screaming my name, I knew that was what was happening. It was do dark user the water, so cold. My chest began to hurt. I needed to breathe air, now. I was holding as long as possible, and swimming in the direction I thought was up. I made it to the surface, with a short, quick breath, I was immediately knocked under again with a wave. My body couldn't handle it, and I sucked in, taking in the salty water, and choking, and drowning. 'Its just like my dream' was all I could think. 'and I'm going to die' I was sinking, and everything was getting blurry as my eyes were squinted in hopes to see which way was up, but I could only see the dark water.
I sank, giving up. Then I saw a figure in the dark. I saw a face, at first thinking it was Mikasa because if the dark hair, but the expression was colder, and not as worried, but more of a curious look. I saw a tail, but a human torso. What I mostly remember were those piercing, silver eyes, then darkness.
