The Beach

After breakfast we immediately got swim wear on, sunblock, and Mikasa packed a lunch for us. We ran through the hotel, jumped down the stairs, and hurriedly rushed to the beach. I was the first one there, and I wasn't wearing shoes, so when I ran on the sand, I was surprised for it to be so hot. I ran back on the wood walkway, and stumbled.
"Eren what happened?!" Mikasa ran over and stood me up
"You ok?"
"Yeah Armin.. Thanks Mikasa. That sand is hot.. Really hot. Did you bring my shoes Mikasa?"
"Yes Eren. Who else would have?" She handed me my shoes and I ran on the beach, throwing my towel, umbrella, and shoes down. I ran to the waters edge. It looked greenish, but it was mostly a dark blue, with lots of sand and seashells(that I stepped on..) and a few jellyfish in the sand. I made sure not to step on them, as I had heard they would sting you. By now Mikasa and Armin have run up beside me, and we all stood there, just staring in awe.
"It's.. Beautiful" Mikasa was beside me, staring almost as interested as I was. I stood speachless, just looking over the wide, blue surface, filled with life and colors and plants. Suddenly, Armin ran towards it.
"We didn't come all this way just to stare at it!" And jumped in. Laughing, Mikasa did as well.
"C'mon eren!" I stood and watched. "It's ok eren." Armin stated. I walked at first, then ran in, jumping and landing close to Mikasa. For about three hours we all stayed in the water, splashing and screaming and laughing. Later we went home and got washed up, and talked about it. Armin decided we should all go to an aquarium because he wanted to see some of the ocean animals up close. We all went, and saw jellyfish, sharks, and even a small octopus.
"Hey" Mikasa stated "We could go on a boat and look at fish and sharks like this in the wild!" I smiled hugely.
"Yes! Let's do that!" So we all got on bathing suits with shirts over(Mikasa wore shorts as well), and we rented a boat. It was wonderful. We saw so many other fish, and I pet a few, and even a dolphin. We all got home around sundown, and took showers, going to bed tired and happy.
I whispered to Mikasa right before falling asleep, "thank you.."
"You're welcome, Eren" and I fell asleep.
