Shifting Choices

After a lot of questions and answers at the dining table it finally ends, Catalina asks for peace and Palma agreed. They all say sorry to each other but for Catalina, it wasn't enough 'cause she hears their thoughts. 

Sora was about to leave with her family but Carlos stopped her, her family gave them space so they left without Sora, "What?" Sora asks Carlos who only stands there scratching his head "I-" Carlos said but was cut off by Savannah who run to them 

Sora rolled her eyes and leave the place "W-wait, Sora" Carlos said but Savannah hugs him as soon as Sora looked back it only made her pissed more so she left immediately. 

"What do you want?!" Carlos shouted at Savannah "Are you shouting at me now?" Savannah said and pout "I-I'm sorry it's just I need to talk with Sora right now and you just disturbed us making her leave," Carlos said in a calm tone "Why? what was the reason? why do you need to talk with her when I'm here?" Savannah asks and hugs Carlos tighter 

Carlos rolled his eyes and gently remove the girl's hand off of him "I just need to clear things out with Sora" Carlos said "Now, you're pushing me at the side knowing Sora likes you?" Savannah said and chuckle 

"I thought you don't like her? what happen? did you just girlfriend me when you see Camilo winning? did you just use me? or you like her now because she's gifted like you and I am not? is she better than me? Carlos, we've known each other for 15 years and you've known her for not even a f*cking month." Savannah added looking at Carlos disappointed

"Look Savannah, I'm not using you okay? don't compare yourself to her (she's definitely better than you) you're good in your own way okay? I didn't girlfriend you because I saw Camilo winning, you're once the love of my life, I'm sorry." Carlos said giving Savannah a last kiss on her forehead before leaving her 

Well Savannah didn't know it was his last kiss on her she thought they were good now, she thought they were back together again. 

After Carlos left a blushing Savannah alone Camilo show up and tsk "Do you know, "You're"  is a contraction of "you" and "are" but although perceived as grammatically incorrect, "you're" could probably mean "you were" 

So that means "you're the love of my life" could also mean "you were the love of my life" I think you misunderstood Carlos" Camilo said and slightly smile at her, it's like a teasingly smile 

Savannah rolled her eyes at the shapeshifter, "What do you want?" she asks and crossed her arms "Oh, I just want some fresh air but I heard and saw the whole thing and I notice you were blushing at the last words of Carlos not knowing what it really means" Camilo said and smirk 

"Shut the f*ck up," Savannah said and widen her eyes when Camilo pinned her "You have no rights to say what would I do, Mi Amor," He said and walk away living a tomato face Savannah 

"Ain't gonna lie, I like it," Savannah said to herself and smiled, the type of smile that could reach her ears. Savannah used to like Camilo because of his funny and playful side. 

The gifted were suddenly forbidden to play with other kids or even go outside because of some 'issue' and that's the reason why her feeling for Camilo fades, they didn't see each other for years 

and when they were again allowed to go outside she was shocked at how Camilo grow, he's a fine young man, his smile and stare could kill right away. Her smile grew bigger when Camilo walk in front of her but it soon fade away when Camilo didn't even bother to look at her way 

and that's when she realized, Camilo doesn't recognize her anymore she felt her sadness take over her body, she was about to leave when Carlos greeted her "Savannah!" The first word she hears from Carlos at the day they were free to go outside again.
