CHAPTER FIVE

"IS YOUR DAD OKAY ?" REGULUS ASKED STILES OVER THE PHONE. "Yeah um, yeah he's okay. He asked about you actually... and when you were gonna come over the next time." Regulus smiled. It seemed like Stiles' father took a liking towards the werewolf in no time.

"I'll come over after school. I'll see you in school by the way. I want to visit my uncle before." Regulus sighed. His heart arched to be with his. "Do you want me to drive you?" Stiles asked him.

"Yes." Regulus said a bit too fast. Stiles chuckled through the phone. "I'll see you in a bit." Stiles hung up the phone.

Walking down the steps he was greeted by his brother who was already training. "Good morning." Derek greeted him "Morning." he mumbled back.

"So, how's it going?" Regulus asked. Derek snorted. "This is your conversation starter? No wonder you don't have friends."

Regulus rolled his eyes. "You know that I loathe small talk." He paused. "And actually, I have friends."

Derek just raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, I bet." Reg thought about what he was gonna say. It was his brother he was talking to.

"A friend of mine is even picking me up for school today." He put on his backpack. "Who ?" Derek asked.

"Stiles." He smiled. "Aren't you in love with him or something ?" Derek asked, his smirk grew as the smile wiped off Regulus' face.

"How do you know ?" He asked shocked. Derek laughed. "I can hear you talking upstairs."

Not knowing how he could defend himself he looked away and crossed his arms. However, a knock was heard on the door, making Reg's heart beat faster.

"That's for me. I'm off to Uncle Peter and then school. I'll be home in the evening. Don't do anything stupid." He told him.

"Why would you think that ?" Derek asked him fake offended. "Oh, I don't know," He said sarcastically. "You just tend to do stupid things." Before Derek could protest, Reg was out of the door and climbing into Stiles' jeep.

"Good morning." Stiles greeted him with a cup of coffee. "I could get used to this." Regulus said, smiling softly at Stiles.

After visiting Peter in the hospital, they parked and went into school. Stiles did everything to ignore Scott. Scott was the reason that his father got hurt. Regulus wasn't there a single time and this happened.

"Still not talking to me?" Scott asked Stiles, who of course ignored him. "Obviously." Regulus commented as a matter of fact. "Not helping Reg,"

"Can you at least tell me if your Dad's okay? I mean, it's just a bruise, right? Some sort of tissue damage? Nothing that big?" Stiles could slap Scott for this.

"You know I feel really bad about it, right?" No answer. He was just greeted by silent judgement.

"Okay. What if I told you that I'm trying to figure this whole thing out, and...That I went to Derek for help?"

"Reg already told me but if I was talking to you, I'd say that you're an idiot for trusting him. But obviously, I'm not talking to you."

A few seconds later he couldn't stop himself anymore. With a sigh, he glanced at Regulus and then turned around to face Scott. "What did he say?"

Scott told him after class. "He wants you to tap into your animal side and get angry?" Stiles repeated

"Yeah."

"Well correct me if I'm wrong, but every time you do that you try to kill someone and that someone's usually me." Stiles said while subtle taking Reggie's hand into his.
