ACT TWO. CHAPTER NINETEEN.

THE LAST HOURS FELT ENDLESS FAST FOR STILES STILINSKI. He was sleeping in his bed until he got woke up by Derek.

He didn't even explain the situation, only that Regulus was in trouble. Blended by worry he followed them into the airport. The flight was so quiet. He sat next to Peter who was in the middle.

Stiles couldn't wait anymore. "Can someone explain what happened with him now ?" He asked. "I thing I deserve to know. I'm going mental with all the scenarios in my head. He's my mate !" He cried out.

Peter looked at Derek for him to start talking but looking at him told them that he wasn't gonna say anything in the next few hours.

"Well," Peter looked at him. "How much do you know about Regulus werewolf curse ?"

Stiles mouth opened and closed. Regulus explained it to him once. "In order to trigger the curse, you have to kill someone but the transformations are unbearably painful. He would never want to trigger it." Stiles stomach turned in worry.

He couldn't stand to see him in so much pain. He thought about seeing him every month going through it. There had to be some way.

"Do you know how it happened ?" He asked Peter shakily. The minutes passed like days after this information was revealed. No one was with Regulus to comfort him and Stiles hated himself for not being with him while it happened. He should have went with him.

"No, I just know that it happened." Peter said. Stiles didn't know how the two of them seemed so calm, it made him mad. They were his family.

He pulled out his phone and looked up when they'd finally arrive. Two more hours left. He groaned. He wanted to be by his side again.

At the airport they got picked up by Klaus' hybrids who carried their luggage into the van and drove them to the mansion.

Stiles kept biting his nails until they were inside. As they walked in, they got greeted by two men. Their names were Elijah and Klaus. Stiles couldn't listen to the conversation as much as he tried to. He felt so lightheaded.

Being in the same house again made his heart beat faster. "Where is he ?" He cut them off as all of them turned to look at him. "You must be Stiles." Klaus said with a curious look. He only nodded.

"Follow me." Klaus started to walk through the mansion while Stiles followed him anxiously. They haltered in front of a corridor.

Klaus pointed at the door on the left. "He's in there." He stated. "He hasn't come out since yesterday."

Stiles didn't know what to answer and spaced towards the room. He knocked on it. No answer. He knocked again.

"It's me." He called out. "It's Stiles." He heard something fall to the ground. The door opened after mere seconds. Stiles looked in the wide eyes of his Lover.

He was pale and Stiles could see his eyebags. For a second he just stood there taking in his presence until he made the first step and pulled him into a hug. Regulus didn't react right away as if he didn't knew if it was real.

He slowly put his arms around Stiles and let his head fall on top of his shoulder. Stiles rubbed his back.

"Hey," Regulus said weakly. "What are you doing here, Sunshine ?"

Stiles only rubbed his back stronger. "You gave me a heart attack. No one told me what's wrong. I'm so sorry that I wasn't there. I should have been."

"It's not your fault. Don't even start blaming yourself for that." They faced each other and Regulus stared into his eyes. Stiles missed his gaze. He missed how his knees grew weak.

Even though they broke apart, Regulus didn't fully let go of him. His hand clambered onto Stiles.

Stiles turned around to see if anyone was there. They were alone. "Let's go inside." He motioned Regulus' to step inside. As they walked in he couldn't see anything because it was too dark. He clasped onto Regulus to not trip over anything.

They reached the bed and Regulus sat down. Stiles made his way to the window. "Cover your eyes." He raised the shutter and opened the window. Now that he looked around the room he could see Regulus' touch everywhere. He sighed.

Regulus was already looking at him as he sat down next to him. There was a silence between them that neither of them knew how to break.

"You know that I'll always be there for you," Stiles said at last. "and if you don't wanna talk about it yet that's fine." He grabbed Regulus hand and put it into his.
