ACT ONE. CHAPTER NINE

"BETRAYED BY MY OWN FUCKING UNCLE." Regulus groaned in pain. "And then by my brother." He chuckled bitterly. Stiles didn't know what he should do. Regulus had several injuries through the fight against Peter and Derek. Regulus' leg was clearly broken but he assured Stiles that he would heal.

So Stiles just sat there driving his hands through the boy's hair while he cursed his ass off. Now and then he would give Reg a sip of water.

"Stiles," Regulus stated with no hope in his voice. His voice was shaking as he fought against the urge to cry.

He did not cry because of the injury. He cried because for the first time in his life, he felt all alone.

"You don't understand. I have no family left. My Uncle murdered my sister and my fucking brother joined sides with him. I left the pack." The realization just hit him.

"I left my pack-" He  groaned into his hands. "I'm gonna die. I'm so stupid." He turned his face away from Stiles sight, embarrassed that someone saw him like this.

"Hey- No. Hey, look at me." Stiles turned Reg's head around to face it. Stiles himself almost cried with him as he saw the boy.

"Listen." He wiped a tear away with his thumb.

"You still have me. We're a family now, okay? You'll be okay. We'll go through this together. As a team. You have me." Stiles assured him softly caressing Reg's face while the boy's tears streamed down his face.

Stiles wiped away his tears as Regulus looked up at him. "Stiles ?" He asked softly

"hm ?" He hummed while caressing the boy's hair.

"I think I have feelings for you."

Stiles only smiled at him with adoration in his eyesand softly connected their lips. It was a sweet and innocent kiss. A light in the darkness Regulus was surrounded by. Shivers ran down his spine as he felt like he was finally complete.

"I have feelings for you too."

...

Stiles went shortly after that to let Regulus get some rest even though the boy had only one thing on his mind anymore. Stiles.

After his leg healed enough to walk on it he walked down the stairs to get more water.

"What are you doing ?" Regulus asked Stiles as he walked into the kitchen.

"I'm gonna have an eternity in the lowest circle of hell." He said pouring his dad another glass of whiskey in.

Regulus shrugged. "Have fun." He drank a glass of water. "I'm going to bed."

Regulus got half an hour of sleep until he got woken up by Stiles.

"Reg." Stiles poked Regulus. "Reg." He poked him again. "Reg." he poked him again. "Reg-" Regulus groaned half-asleep patting the spot next to him signalling him lay beside him.

"I don't have much time. Come on. We're going on a car ride." Regulus didn't move a muscle. Stiles sighed. "We'll cuddle after that."

...

The car ride turned out to be Stiles crashing Scott's Mother and his Uncles date. Literally. He crashed into their car. "Oh, are you kidding me? Stiles!" An angry Melissa McCall stomped over. He got out of the jeep. "Mrs McCall?"

"Yes." she screamed angrily. "Wow, this is... This is just crazy. What a coincidence, huh ?" Melissa laughed mockingly.

"I was just about to drive with Reg-"

He pointed to the werewolf who pretended to be asleep.

"To the grocery store. I mean... I do not know what happened. You guys just came out of nowhere." He defended himself.

"Came out of nowhere? We were parked on the side of the road, Stiles."

Stiles wheezed. "How crazy is that? I mean we should probably call the cops, you know, do like an accident report thing."

"I don't think that's necessary." Peter replied calmly.

"Are you sure ?" Stiles asked. "I think I'm feeling a little whiplash." He scratched his neck.

"Whiplash? You hit us!" Melissa cut him off.

"I don't know, there's something definitely wrong with my neck."

"You could've helped me." Stiles grumbled as Regulus opened his eyes as soon as they were out of eyesight. "And have to talk with my rat Uncle? No way."
