MISSION: Scolded

Akali now was being scolded by Atreus. He usually wouldn't no matter the issue but this was serious where she tried to follow him when he specifically told them not to due to him going to attack Voidlings covering their paths into the Arcology. She almost died of he didn't had her close.

Akali: <sniff> I'm sorry mister.

She was holding her tears back while the rest looked nearby. This was the first time they watched Atreus scold someone and would set an example to them of what would happen if they didn't follow his orders even if it was just a one time thing.

Atreus: Sorry isn't going to change if you're to die, do you have any idea how reckless that was?

Akali was terrified by Atreus. Really who would with that strength and experience of his but seeing how scared Akali was he sigh knowing that he had gone too far toward her. He did think that it wasn't her fault maybe because before Akali would always follow Taniyama as a way of safety rather than his method so now he switched to having a calmer tone again.

Atreus: Look, If I was scaring you but that was really careless of you doing that.

Akali: I-I didn't mean to annoy M-Mister.

Atreus: It's ok, It's ok now but the next time you must listen to me alright? I can't ensure your safety if I were to go into combat with you girls.

He pulled her into a hug comforting her, light sobs heard as she hugged Atreus. The girls soon joined in the hug most likely to not be left out.

Commander Strive was now sent into the front lines to kill off any voidlings left around Piltover and ARTEMIS. Zaun was done by fellow commander Augustin, while two defended the perimeter.

Strive: search for any survivor around the place. Kill any hostile beast around, we can't let any be inside here with the citizens.

Many slaughtered the voidlings that were still around and most died but some retaliated thus forcing Strive to join in.

Soldier: Commander there's a large 12 ft tall voidling up ahead.

Strive: Well isn't this new, haven't seen one this big before in ages. Leave it to me, I'll deal with it and continue to save civilians nearby.

They quickly followed his orders as the beast now stood in front of the commander. He stood right in front of it as rushing toward him.

Strive: Burn in hell you piece of shit.

His fist soon opened before creating an inferno that burnt the beast into nothing. Now you may be wondering what he just did? Well, most of the commanders are like Atreus who had to get mechanical replacement for parts of their body and with that came modification. And Strive was an inferno engine which is built into his arm which gains him the power to flames. Though a rather uncontrollable power since he can't control the flames that just create and burn under his hands he had helped win many battles on ARES with it.

Strive: And here I thought I wouldn't get more work. At least I got help on White Wolf's issue.

He soon turned to see the sky, one that was not pleasant to see as the dark clouds covered the whole sky.

Strive: Captain …... I hope you get out there quickly.

He soon continued to help out with the evacuation and the rebuilding of the ARTEMIS. Both side now facing their own struggles and hopefully soon end but that may have come not in the way they meant.
