I came in not long after they  all  left .

My mom stared at me with hooded eyes .
"Why didn't you tell me you were seeing another person apart from Jaffar ". It should have been a question,

But , I didn't see the need to answer I was heading to my room when my dad spoke ." His family has a Respectable name.He is well to do , salmah he is rich he can give you all the goods I've  dreamed of giving you and he loves you.Im  proud of you salmah .I knew you would  suprise us all. You really are a charmer .
"I have agreed to their proposal ,he said with a firm voice. "I just want you to think things over and tell me your opinion  about it."If you agree to it, I would be very pleased to bless the union and if you are not interested  ,u would have to give me a strong reason to go with it.

I thought I was going to get peace until two days later I realized I was just getting into chaos . " Mom had practically forced me to speak to her about him every single time I was around her and  it was getting suffocating. we  just finished preparing lunch .I excused myself and went into my room .
I needed space ,I needed to breathe ,I needed to  feel .

A  message popped up on my screen"hey wifey" it was definitely Khalil .
"I really don't want to have you get married to  me  without  your will ,sooo.........let's go on a date if you aren't busy .."

No . It was simple , I already dispised  him how would he just just message me  he owned my phone . I never gave him my number ,this guy is super rude .I sent my reply,cos there is nowhere I'll go with him.

Another message popped up,

"I'm downstairs ,I'm here to see you "

Like seriously , what is wrong with this guy  why is it that he  acts like a psycho ..so now he is downstairs like seriously , what should I do about it. Mtchew  I hissed .

I went into the shower to have my bath. I'm definitely not going downstairs . Yeah I know  , I lied to myself  cos right now ,
I'm still wondering how I have myself fully dressed up  and going downstairs . I only wished I never went down.

It only took a little investigation for me to get everything I needed ,the business world is like  a cone 😁, any information that is turned upside down goes out .
I just got a trivial information about her dad's business , he has a mini Mart with stores at the far end of  lake buildings .The main  and cooperate owner of lake buildings wants to sell the shops  for trice the normal rents , I could help with that , he was slowly going bankrupt and I'm sure he realized it , and he knew it .He was an average buisness man but the way the market slope is going  this days ,I can make a bribe with that spot.
It might be called manipulation , but no it's just playing your cards wisely .

I smiled as he welcomed me,she is upstairs . I had texted her earlier asking for a date , but like I expected she refused , and I am here , I hate the fact that she is stubborn it's very annoying but at least it makes me want to tame her 😏. The proposal  was not hard to express, the only surprising thing is the way he accepted the offer without a second thought.

Maybe  I lied ,I know I did but it was needed .I told him I needed to leave Nigeria for a business meeting and I wanted to leave with my bride 😂. It was a good enough reason .The whole world knew I ruled my dad's business empire and I had already brought forth my bribe .

"I will see to it "he said." It's easy, I will make sure that everything goes as planned . The wedding will go on in two weeks time.she is my daughter I will know how to convince her .
Just then I heard faint retreating  steps. I looked up but no one was it sight.
Just being careful I handed him all the files and left with the smile of being a groom  and pleasing his dad in the next two weeks.who says miracles don't exist.  It does ,it just finds the most intelligent  people to be expressed upon 😊.
