I saw jaffar storming out and I couldn't help but smile at the hurt expression on his face .I had hurt his ego and I was proud of myself . I smugly smiled , but it was soon replaced with confusion.
I thought I didn't hear well but all of a sudden there was screams and gunshots.

I was still lost.
Ummah , abbah ,saudat ,everyone that came for me . My eyes landed on Khalil who was still trying to shout for everyone to get down.
We were now all in ranging circles .
With bullets flying .
I broke into tears .

It happened so swiftly and before I knew it I was under Khalil with his hand ducked to his left upper rib .
