"You may now kiss the bride." the knock-off priest said, reaching to take a whiff of his cigar. He inhales deeply then sticks the huge butt in his mouth with no regard for the couple in front of him. The happy couple, at his command, wrapped each other in a firm embrace and kissed passionately.
The crowd, along with me, cheered loudly for the beautiful, now married pair. Eric, with no regard for his family and his bride's, is now holding Sophia in his arms, his tongue inching further and further down her oesophagus. I get that they're in love but damn, he might as well eat her for dinner. Which, now that I think about it, he might. Gross.
Sophia signals for help from his brutal onslaught and he finally lets her up for air. Despite his attempts at murdering his bride through suffocation, she smiles at the crowd, seemingly happy with his attack. They walk down the make-shift alley and onto the pier.
The venue of the event is beautiful and the effort Sophia had put into making her day perfect could be seen everywhere. You wouldn't even believe it was low-budget. If I had known they were engaged earlier, all the finances as it related to the wedding would've been taken care of by me. But since I found out too late, when I told Sophia that I would do that for her, she threatened to have a voodoo doll made for me. That was enough deterrence.
I helped her as much as I could on the week-days but since I had work, I could only give her at most two hours of assistance on those days. However, on Saturday, I came out early, and me and the rest of the bridal party worked hard to help out our best girl. We gave her the day off and we completed the decorations as per her request. It was beautiful, all of us working together and making today a big success, just the thought makes me teary-eyed.
The wedding is taking place on a beautiful sandy beach, four hours outside of the city. There is white and green decor everywhere and a green carpet running through the middle, acting as their 'red carpet.' There was a faux flower arch above the knock-off pastor, with green and white flowers and it was turned away from the beach. At the end of the aisle opposing the faux flower arch, was a pier overlooking the ocean. If you were to jump off, you'd fall right into the cool water of the ocean.
And welp, that's what my two crazy parents were about to do.
Eric helped Sophia out of her bulky wedding dress, almost ripping the material much to my loud and boisterous protesting. I hate this idea, but it's not like they cared. They were going to do it anyway. After Sophia was successfully out of the dress, she assisted her husband out of his tux. They threw the clothes on the pier with scant regard for them and kissed once more. Eric didn't go as far as the end of her throat this time but still.. Get a room!
Much to my surprise, they were both in bathing suits! And I had no idea about that.
They both gazed at each other with sloppy smiles on their faces before grabbing each other's hands and falling face first off the pier. The others soon started following, stripping down to their undergarments and jumping off the pier with squeals. I gaped at all of them, and shrieked when one by one everyone jumped off the pier.
