Rejie recalls ronie telling him about the prosecution's visit and covers his mistake by using his brother's condition as reason for his confusion.
The two sit down together, where julius presents the suicide note to rejie/ronie, who reacts by saying that rejie wouldn't to do such a thing.
Julius asks is he's referring to murder, or to suicide.
The prosecutor agrees that the rejie he knew wasn't the type to suicide.
Faux ronie suggests the handwriting analysis would confirm if the note was written by rejie.
He then admits to meeting rejie and urging him to turn himself in.
Julius sits silently as he observes the real rejie.
A nurse runs into the room to announce that the patient has regained consciousness.
The men run to the patient's beds and ronie sees rejie and then julius.
The real ronie keeps up the pretense and calls his brother "talk to me."
The real ronie manages to say somthing and julius asks him to repeat it.
As he hears what ronie has to say, julius widen in shock.
Ronie flatlines, and julius is pushed aside as the doctors work to resuscitate him.
Rejie looks on as the doctors shock the real ronie's heart, but then approches them to stop thier attempts.
He sits next to his brother's body
Crying as he calls out for "rejie."
Julius looks on in disbelief as he recalls what the the dying man whispered into his ear: "re-j-ie."
All while the cries of the real ronie morph into a crazed laugh.
