Little world
Little world
I do not hate you
You are not unkind
Your thorns made me bleed
Seething rage
But I now know the color red
Color of love
You have made me shed tears
Wretched heartbreak
But I see the beauty of blue
Color of the ocean and sky
The bruises that coat my knee
From childhood falls
Are the sweetest shade of purple
Color of the flowers and dawn
When I envy others, I feel so deeply
The unfair green world
But it's the color of your trees, his eyes
And when I close my eyes to rest
The black of the night
Is the sweetest embrace I know
I forgive you little world
You gave me life
