The words get stuck in my throat
The things I'm meant to say
I have no sign
No perfect line
I can't put your demons at bay
I'm no savior
And it strikes me to the bone
Let me take your pain
Let me help you let it all go
But I'm not perfect
I'm broken beyond repair
And no amount of words of mine
Can make this life fair
But please hold on for me
I know I'm not enough
Maybe if I said the right thing
Your life wouldn't be so tough

Put the pain away
