It was now three weeks form the wedding. But you're probably wondering if Chad got to Lucas and tried to fix everything. No he didn't. Lucas wasn't home apparently but that wasn't going to stop him. He did consider him as his best man, but he chose someone else. Actually, he was on his way to tell that person now.
According to Brooke, Ashley moved in with Logan not too long ago so that's where Chad was headed. He was following the directions that Brooke had sent of the address. Once he pulled up to a townhouse with the address, he got out the car and headed to the door— ringing the doorbell.
It was no surprise that Logan answered. Chad just smiled and she let him in. She figured his visit was for his sister, which was his business so she didn't ask any questions of why he's there. All Logan told him was to sit on the couch and she'll go get Ashely.
A couple of minutes have passed and Ashely was walking down the steps to the living room where Chad was waiting for her.
"Hey." He stood up and bringing her into a hug.
"Hi..." Ashely shyly pulled away, "This is unexpected."
"I didn't even know you moved. What's up with that?" Chad sat back down on the couch.
"Sorry." Ashely sat next to Chad, "It just happened. The only reason Brooke knows is cause I was moving out of her house. Trust me, I was going to tell you."
"I know. Congrats." He smiled, "But I have good news. I finally picked a best man."
"Who?" Ashely's eyes grew wide, she was eager with excitement.
