"Fine, but if she's coming with us she can't know where we're going."

"Are you telling me to what? Blindfold her!"

Steve stays annoyingly quiet.

"I can't believe this." She grabs me by the arm and sits me on one of the chairs.

She walks away and returns again with a black blindfold in her hand, leaving a heavy silence in the room.

Natasha ties the blindfold around my head a little too tight and my night vision senses turn on.

Everything turns black and green and I feel a hand on my arm that gets me up.

I don't say a word and we start walking, leaving the building and entering a car that drives off as soon as we get in.

It's me, Natalia, Stark, Clint and Wanda. I'm surprised Tony didn't take a special cab and instead rode with us.

No one talks, no one moves, absolute silence fils the car until we get somewhere in the middle of New York.

The Avengers tower.

Everyone leaves the car, and not to blow out the fact that I can see, I wait until someone opens the door and gets me out.

We walk up to the entrance but stop mid way.

"Where are you taking her to?" Steve questions Natasha.

"To get cleaned up. Fury wants to see her afterwards."

While walking inside, I try to take in my surroundings the best I can, especially the strong femme fatale presence next to me. I can tell when she's Natalia, and when she stops being Natalia to become Natasha. I can feel the shift in the way she moves, the way she breathes, the way she talks and even the way she thinks. The truth is I would recongise anywhere by her touch alone.

We enter the elevator and she presses some buttons before it starts moving and stops when a ding is heard.

We keep walking and reach a door that she opens with her finger print before letting us in.

" Wait here" she walks away into some other room, probably the bathroom and comes back quickly. The room feels warm and smells like fresh roses swiped into the darkness.

She untis my blindfold, leaving our faces inches apart. Her green eyes shine is desperation, waiting for me to do something- no, to remember something.

It's like something happened between us, but I don't know what.

I can't remember, but I know she does.

Although I can feel it.

I could ask her about it, but I'm sure whatever it was probably has brought her so much pain, and I wouldn't want to hurt her again. Never.

We stare at each other fore a while like it's some kind of game before she breaks eye contact and turns around gesturing to the room we're in. "This is my room. There's fresh clothes in the bathroom." She tries her best not to smile at the look on my face.

"Nick Fury wants to see you. I'll be outside if you need anything."

Apparently she's not afraid I'll steal something or that I'll do something bad. She trusts me.

She leaves the room and once she's out I start to look around.

Her room is quite simple. Some pictures here and there, not much decoration.

One picture standing in her nightstand catches my attention.

It's two girls, one with blue hair, a beautiful smile but a desolating look in her eyes, and the other one is younger, blond hair, and smiles as if all the sadness in the world went away and is never coming back.
