I stand alone
honour intact
armour rusted
body bloodied
sword unbroken
shield at ready
wounds untended
I will not yield
bow down to fear
play the coward
I will not turn
away from oaths
and chivalryI unfavoured
by grace’s smile
nor lady luck
no sweet token
to keep me strong
I keep the faith
and stand my ground
listen I roar
to my enemies
to you I say
nay I command
go back to hellor whence you came
you have no place
you don’t belong
here in the light
exposed to truth
back away now
turn tail and flee
or feel my blade
to sleep in death
and feel no more.
