S2: Naming Her

Rimuru POV

Today I'm playing in the forest with Raphael. We are playing chess and have been competing in various things around the forest. So far I haven't won in anything, she's like a living library with infinite knowledge and reaction time, competing against her is so hard.

"Aww... I lost again~"

Raphael: "You cannot win in mind games against me master."

"I was so close this time though, I could have at least made it a draw if you didn't take my rook. So close."

Raphael: "Master, I can analyze anything at a super-fast rate, out-witting me in a game of knowledge is impossible."

"I'll get you sooner or later."

Veldanava: "Looks like you lost again Rimuru! Don't worry I'll beat Raphael!"

"I don't think you can."

Raphael: "You barely have a 5% chance of even getting a draw with me."

Veldanava: I was shocked. "Rimuru! Have faith in me, will you! I beat you the other day, didn't I! I think I'll manage."

"Yeah, but remember the win-loss ratio kurrhm (giggles.)"

Raphael: "3-74"

"Hahahaahahahaha!"

Veldanava: "Let's just play, I'll win."

After their match, I can't even call this a match actually. Raphael beat big brother in 7 turns. 

Veldanava: "How did you beat me!"

Raphael: "I doubt anyone can beat me heh."

"Raphael? did you just smirk?"

Raphael: "It was your imagination."

We started walking around the forest to check our territory, we also killed some stray unintelligent beings who were rampaging around the area. After a bit of exploring, we found our way to the natural hot springs to relax and enjoy ourselves. I canceled all of my temperature resistance.

"Ahhh~ This hits the spot, the water here is so nice and warm."

Veldanava: "It's the perfect spot to relax. Especially when you cancel your heat resistance."

Raphael: "Hmm... perhaps we should make something like this at home?"

"Ohh~~ Yeah, let's do it! It feels so relaxing just staying in here! Do we have any room though?"

Veldanava: "We could make a spot between our house and the fishing spot."

Raphael: "I can calculate the necessary items needed once we have a location."

"Let's just use earth magic to build it, it'll be so much faster."

Raphael: "Understood."

Once we finished our bath, we went home and started building our own personal springs. Veldanava helped design the layout using earth magic, and Raphael helped make the more complex design. I help organize the washing room and we put water in.

Veldanava: "The only problem now is how to heat the water?"

"We'll need a way to the water warm all the time. How about using fire stones? Got any ideas, Raphael?"

Raphael: "Firestones use magicules to automatically heat up, but it has a capacity. If we get a few dozen and put them somewhere to heat the water, we can make them hot and change them when it's out of magicules."
