Since there isn't much information on Hawks' Agency, I'll be winging it (ha- get it?) and making up stuff to fill in the holes.

Also, brief mention of rape, just know that it's only for the purpose of the story and I definitely do not condone it.

Once they arrived at the agency, they were told to immediately change into their hero costumes and meet Hawks in the main lobby.

This was the first time Shirai would be trying on his hero costume, and he was pretty excited. They made their way to the changing rooms, conversing a bit. Tokoyami and Shirai had grown a little closer after spending time together and talking about various trivial topics on the train ride here.

After pulling the costume on, he inspected himself in the full-length mirror attached to the wall.

His costume was the same as his old Border uniform, which mirrored Jin's- except, instead of the blue jacket and tinted goggles, his was gray. His black cargo pants fit perfectly; not too loose or tight as to not restrict movement, and he had on his modified combat boots as well.

On top of a simple white undershirt was a thin jacket, without a zipper. He had two breast pockets, and two patches on each shoulder. However, instead of both of them being the classic Border symbol, he designed it so that one of them was changed to the Tamakoma symbol. The collar was high, and his goggles rested on his neck.

"Nice hero costume, Shirai-kun." Tokoyami commented, Shirai returning the compliment.

They gathered in the main lobby, and after waiting for a few minutes, the elevator doors opened and Hawks came out.

"Yo! You guys must be the interns, yes?" He made his way over. "Yes, sir." The two boys responded, bowing down.

They talked a bit about how the interns were going to go, but Hawks clearly had no interest in the specifics. They soon went out to patrol, with only the simple instructions, "Follow me."

Hawks' P.O.V.

As soon as the pro hero got outside, he spread his wings and took flight. Once he got a far enough distance away, he looked back.

To his surprise, the taller boy, Shirai, had managed to keep up and follow him. Tokoyami, the other boy, had trouble. His quirk, the dark-shadow like figure, grabbed onto nearby lampposts, flinging both it and the boy towards him. However, this was inefficient as he didn't have anywhere to land in the air.

Shirai, on the other hand, was seemingly running in midair, but with a closer look Hawks realized that he was summoning tiny platforms directly under his feet, only creating the illusion that he was running on air.

He approved silently in his mind. He's the better candidate so far, certainly creative with his quirk usage. The bird boy, on the other hand, lacks the power quirk-wise to be useful. He also lacks the imagination to utilize his quirk in different ways. He wasn't gonna lie though- the fact that the younger teen was that much taller than he was kind of unnerved him.

Hawks soon arrived at the crime scene, where a villain had been running away with a briefcase full of precious diamonds and gems. With a delicate accuracy, he sent a few feathers to pick up the briefcase and another for the villain. Tokoyami was too far behind at this point, and Shirai, although able to arrive faster, did not have the opportunity to do anything.

Leaving the briefcase and villain in the hands of his sidekicks, Hawks wasted no time in taking off to the next area. The next case was a more complicated one- a villain had broken into a cafe and was holding several civilians hostage with his quirk while taking money from the cash register.
