Chapter 4

"Sinasagot na kita"

That 3 words.... That 3 words that lit up my world. That 3 words that changed my perspective in love. And that 3 words that made me whole.

I was so happy that time, a tear fell from my eye because of so much happiness filling my heart.

Atlast, after 4 months of courting, nakuha ko na ang kanyang matamis na Oo. Mas matamis pa keysa sa paborito kong letche flan.

"Oh my God. I can't believe it. Sinasagot mo na ako Selene?" Sabi ko. Hindi parin makakapaniwala.

"Oo, bakit ayaw mo? Sige hindi nalang." Sabi nya.

"Nononono wag. Ohh my God." Sabi ko.

"HAHAHA binibiro lang kita." Sabi pa nya.

Napailing nalang ako. Such a tease pasalamat sya mahal ko sya hihi. Hayyystt.

"Selene?"

"Yes.... Seleno?" She replied.

I sent a VM saying; "I love you."

She sent back a message. "Iloveyouutooo."

But good things must come to an end. I really thought that was it. Akala ko talaga dun na magsisimula ang love story namin. Akala ko til' death do us part na, I thought she was the one. Pero parang ayaw talaga ng tadhana na maging kami hanggang sa huli.

Malapit na fourth monthsarry namin pero puro kami away at tampohan, hindi halos magkasundo. I thought normal lang to kasi lagi naman kaming nag aaway pag malapit na ang monthsarry, pero this one's different. This time, Pinipilit kong ipaglaban ang digmaang ako lang lumalaban.

I really feel like she's losing interest in me but I want to push it. I need to keep the fire burning despite of the coldness starting to consume us.

May time na naging okay kami kaya akala ko okay na. But there's just this wall that I couldn't seem to get through

So what I did. A day before our monthsarry, August 13, 2021. I went to their town. I wore a cap and a face mask to cover my identity, I don't want her to see me. Kasi ayaw daw nyang makita ako sa lugar nila kasi baka raw mabuking kami, I was suspicious of that idea of hers.

Pano naman kami mabubuking? Eh walang masyadong nakakaalam sa relasyon namin. Pero sinunod ko pa rin sya.

So I went to their town. And adjacent to thier house I sat on crimson. Waiting and hoping that she'll come for even a second.

God made a way for me. Selene and her whole family went out of their house, I don't know why, pero as in lumabas silang lahat para mag usap-usap.

And there I was adjacent to them just watching her. I don't care If I'll look like a stalker. I don't care anymore. Gusto ko lang sya makita.

The reason why I wanna see her? Because I felt like we wont last long. Kaya gusto ko syang makita sa huling beses bago may mangyari samin.

And I was right.

4th monthsarry namin. Pero I don't feel like it was our monthsarry. Timing kasi na may lakad kami sa malayong lugar at walang signal at gabi na kami makakauwi kaya gabi narin ako makapag online.

Then the night came.

"Happy 4 monthsarry Selene. I love you." Masayang bati ko sa kanya.

"Happy monthsarry din Seleno." Yun lang ang sabi nya tas di na sya nag online pang muli.

I was hurt of course, who wouldn't be? Hours and hours I waited so we could go home and talk to her about our day then just a few minutes of chat?
