The Christmas holidays were finally over and it was time for the Lupin twins to return back to Hogwarts. Estella dragged her suitcase behind her as she pushed through the crowd on the train to find a compartment. Estella hadn't even said goodbye to her parents. She hadn't spoken to Lyall since that night.
Remus had asked her about her face but she lied, telling him she tripped on the cat and landed flat on the floor. He seemed to accept that story.
She let out a huff when she noticed that she had to pass Lucius Malfoy, Snape and Regulus to find a seat. "Look at Looney Lupin! All those bruises!" Lucius pointed out which made them all stare at her. "Probably her family since no one loves her." Snape hissed.
Estella bit her bottom lip in anger before clenching her fists, pulling her arm back and punching Snape square in the nose. It was a rather large target.
Narcissa and Lucius let out a laugh as they watched the girl storm away and into a nearby compartment. Regulus sighed as he watched her walk away before he followed her.
"Is everything alright?" The younger Slytherin asked. "Why do you hang out with pricks like that?" She hissed as she pushed her suitcase up on the shelf above. "Who am I meant to be with? Sirius? I'd be disowned." Regulus replied.
"Have you spoken to him all?" She question the Slytherin. "Why should I? He clearly wants nothing to do with me." She sighed and shook her head. "Regulus, we both know that isn't true."
"Well he's doing a bad job at showing that." The dark haired boy replied. He looked incredibly similar to Sirius. The same ebony black hair. The same piercing dark eyes. The same pale skin.
"Anyway, I need to get going before they look for me." He slid the door open but paused and turned back around. "Are you sure nothing is wrong?"
She nodded. "I'm fine. It's fine." He let out a hun of satisfaction before leaving her alone in the compartment. The train suddenly let out a hiss and began to roll out of the station, the station filled with smoke.
Estella glanced over at the window to see her reflection in it. "It's not fine." She quietly whispered as her eyes went red and leaned back into the cushioned seats.

Estella woke up in her bed the next morning for her first lesson, Potions. She hummed to heralded as she did up her crimson tie and brushed through her chestnut hair. The Gryffindor then leaned closer to the mirror and inspected the fading marks littered across her arms and face.
She pulled her jumper over her hair, as it was freezing but also it would cover the bruises. However she could do nothing about the ones on her face and had to hope no one would notice them.
Estella let out a sigh as she walked into her Potions classroom and took a seat at a desk located in the corner. "Welcome back. I hope you all had a great Christmas." Slughorn greeted with a wide grin.
