Chapter 2- The First Tick

It was a wonderful and bustling morning for the Yagi family, the sun was shining and the excitement fueling the house was almost palpable. 

It was THE day after all.

 The day where one sweet young boy would finally find out what his quirk is

It was around 7 am when Inko Yagi went to wake up her children. 

Who despite being siblings couldn't look any more different, Izuku had his mothers vibrant green hair and green eyes, while Izumi looked like the spitting image of her father, with shining blonde hair and blue eyes. The children weren't actually twins, although many would have assumed they were based on how close they looked in age.

Izuku was actually the oldest, being a year older than Izumi who was still around 3.

However, the two were so close in age that they both went to school at the same time, and were set to be in the same grade when they were older.

They truly were that close....

Once Inko had woken up the kids the already hectic house became loud with the excited cries of the two youngins.

"Mommy mommy! Come on I wanna know my quirk so bad" Izuku cried as he grabbed onto his mother's hand.

"I know sweetie, but we still have to wait for Izumi silly"

"But she's not even four yet!" Izuku pouted

"Well Daddy's working right now so she'll have to come with us" Inko said with a smile.

"Ok then!" Izuku said with his signature smile before going out to call for her sister.

After finally getting everyone out of the house and into the car, after a quick drive the family finally made it to the quirk office.

"Hello, quirk appointment for Izuku Yagi at 9"

"Hi! Good morning, here just fill out this paper work and the doctor will call you in in a second"

30 min time skip -----

Once everything was sorted out the family finally made their way into the office and sat down eagerly awaiting the news to come.

"Hello good morning, whose this?" The doctor said pointing at Izumi with a giddy welcoming smile.

"Oh this is my other child, Izumi, she's 3"

"Well in that case would you like me to test her for a quirk today, early detection is rare but it still happens!"

"Sure why not!"

Then, after the tests where sent in and the children were scanned, the doctor finally came back in with an excited look on his face.

He sat down, and his expression shifted.

"Would you like the bad news or the good news first"

"Uhh the good news"

"Well your daughter here actually qualified for early detection! It turns out the she has an upgraded more powerful version of your quirk mam!"

"That's amazing Izumi" Inko cried will picking up her daughter.

"However, keep in mind her quirk won't work on anything alive"

"Alright, she'll still be quite the hero I'm sure"

 "and the bad news?"

"Well your son here...he's well..he's quirkless"

And just like that Izukus entire life shattered right before his eyes.His eyes widened in shock before his mother in a disgusted voice said

"Oh"- standing up.

"Well will that be all? Because I've got to get home, we sure have got something great to celebrate dont we"

The doctor who had realized what future awaited this boy, tried to speak up, but was too slow as the woman sped out of the office, with Izuku barely being able to keep up behind her.

"That poor boy"

So I realize that a lot of people find Izuku Yagi stories pretty predictable, but trust me guys this ones gonna be a LiTtLe bit different.

I'll try to update at least once a week to keep the chapters decently long and nicely writtenISH but I'm pretty NOTreliable.

Should I add a ship or no? It would probably be Tododeku but just let me know.
