Chapter 7-Two faced

Once Izuku reached the ground, he ran, he ran as fast as he could for as long as he could without taking a single glance back. As far as he was concerned the Yagi family didn't exist anymore, not to him anyway.

After around 20 minutes of running he made it to the most urban part of the city where he lived...

"This probably isn't the safest option, but I'll hopefully be able to find the most supplies here"

Izuku didn't really have a plan... so he simply wandered around, gazing up at the darkening sky as people flooded past him, couples, families, and friends giddy with joy circling in his mind.

But within a matter of minutes walking up and down the streets he was lost.

"Shit."

Izuku had no clue where he was, seeing as growing up he really didn't have very many opportunities to get out and explore the world, or more accurately, his home city.

"I wonder how long it'll be till my father realizes I've run away?"

The young boy sighed towards the ground, before looking up at his immediate surroundings in search of sustenance. 

"Well I guess I should find something to eat, I haven't had anything since lunch, and lunch was less than satisfying."

He had around 6000 Yen saved ($50ish dollars) from a couple side jobs he picked up over the years, I mean the kid had to find some way to buy some clothes, seeing as his parents from hell refused to buy him any.

"I guess I'll have to ration this out until I can figure something out...don't really know who would wanna hire some kid off the street"

"Ohhhh welllllll"

"For now let's just set my daily budget at around 600 Yen ($5ish dollars), starting today"

So Izuku proceeded to glance around at some shops and restaurants nearby...

"GEEEZZZ that's expensive, does this world think I'm made out of money???"

For the first hour...he was rather unsuccessful.

IZUKU POV

Well this isn't gonna work, if I can't figure out how to find one reasonably priced meal how am I supposed to actually survive on the streets???? I guess I can keep looking for a little while, I mean I'd rather not starve, it'd probably ruin the whole positive thing I've got going on right now.

~A little while later~

UGHHHHHHH WHY IS EVERYTHING SO GODDAMN EXPENSIVE????

LIKE I'VE WALKED ALMOST EVERY INCH OF THIS CITY AND I CAN'T FIND A SINGLE THING UNDER 600 Yen.

I guess.... I could try the dollar store? It is called the dollar store for a reason...

3rd person POV

After a short trip Izuku finally makes it to his last resort..

"I guess it's this or shit"

Izuku slowly starts to makes his way around the store, examining every food product to find the best meal, and EvEnTuaLLy after way too long he manages to find a quick and inexpensive meal.

"Thank god that's over with...I guess I'll walk to the park and eat this...there's too many people around here"
