"That was your first challenge."

It was about 4 in the morning when you woke up gasping for air. You were sweating like crazy and had thrown your blankets off of yourself in your sleep. You didn't know what had made you wake up in this panic like state but before you knew it Gaara had busted threw your door. He was the same way as you. Then it clicked. The Shikaku. You both sat there for a moment before you made room on the bed for him to sit with you. You fixed the blankets and sat talking to him until the sun had come up.

He then got up. " Thank you for talking to me about this," You sighed rubbing you neck. "No Problem, We kinda have to stick together threw this." He stated as he headed to the door. You both said your goodbyes and you started getting ready. You heard a knock at your door as you were fixing your mask. "Oh, Good morning Temari." You stated as she was smiling. "Ready to hit the town?" She asked in a excited voice. You nodded she then grabbed your hand and pulled you down the hall. You were able to shut your door but that was about it.

After a few hours you both got lunch together. "Wow, This is delicious." You stated as you took a bite of the food. "Right! I love this place!" Temari agreed. You finished eating and you both paid separately. As you were walking with Temari to the training grounds you ran into some young academy students. "Oh, Sorry about that." You said bowing a bit to the children. They looked at you in awe. They had never seen someone with pure white hair, unless they were older. "Woahhhhhhhhh, Your hair is so cool!" one said. "Are you from the leaf village?" Another asked. You and Temari giggled and she ran the children off. You realized it was getting closer to your one on one training with Gaara. You got a bit nervous as you knew he was really powerful. You've been told by many people that you were probably one of the few people able to take him on a one v. one fight. Some others said it was only because of your dad. Other said it could be cause of your mother as well but no one told you who she was.

"Y/N?" Temari called your name. You snapped out of your thoughts as you had arrived at the training grounds. "Sorry I was deep in thought.." You sighed as you removed your mask as Gaara hated seeing on you. Temari giggled a bit. "Well be glad Gaara isn't here yet." She stated as you began warming up. Temari gave a slight grin. "Wanna train with me until he gets here?" She asked as she would supervise the fight between yourself and Gaara later and wouldn't have anything to do. "Hm, Why not?" You stated. Some people at seen you and Temari at the opposite sides of the field and gather around to watch you two battle.

She pulled out her fan as you aimed your arm toward the ground with the other grabbing your wrist. You then started gathering energy to that hand and created the Chidori. Temari was shocked and swiped her fan sending wind at you trying to cut you. You then disappeared into thin air and appeared behind her. You didn't directly hit her with the Chidori as you sent you hand into the ground beneath her feet. This sent her flying to the side you were once on. She got right back up though. She sent more wind your way. You hadn't perfected this move you were about to use but decided to go with it. "Storm Release: Laser Circus!" Temari was shocked. You had only learned this move because you had read about Madara Uchiha and how he used Storm style but you hadn't told anyone about it.

This technique creates several beams and shoots them at the enemy. First, a halo of bright energy spreads around the user's hands as this technique is activated, then it encircles the user's hand and from that, the beams are shot out towards the enemy. The user is able to alter the beam's direction after being shot, making it possible to strike multiple enemies with pinpoint accuracy, even bypassing hostages held in close proximity. The user can also increase the number of beams to a great amount to pin down an enemy.

Sadly Temari dodged it so you stopped it not causing any damage to the village. The village people were shocked you had such great power. You had just found out recently that you could use water release. You already had Lightning because of your dad and assumed wind from you mother but water too? Who was she? And what family was she from? You had to look into later. Right now you had to focus on Temari. She came at you with her fan managing to cut your thigh in the process. You fell to the ground. It wasn't a very deep cut, but deep enough. She had walked over to you to 'land the fatal blow' to end the fight but as she did you formed a Resengan and threw it at her and you stood up and ran toward her. She was laying in the ground. You pulled a Kunai out of your bag and held it at her throat. "You ready to give up?" You asked breathing heavy. She threw her hands up. " I give up!" She giggled out. You giggled and helped her up. You then healed any of her injuries then the cut on your thigh Gaara walked over to you two clapping then getting on his knees. He wrapped your leg up so you didn't have to waste anymore chakra. "Thank you Lord Gaara." You said standing and bowing to him. "Please, Just call me Gaara." He said. You nodded. "It seems you defeted Temari. That was your first challenge." He stated. "You will fight Kankuro tomorrow. Tonight just rest again. Dinner is always at 8." He said and walked off. You watched as he walked off and the village people applauded you. You bowed toward them and put your hand up saying your thanks. You grabbed your mask and walked with Temari back to their residence.

"That was a good fight." She stated. You nodded "It was you were a very good rival." You laughed out as you opened the door for her. She walked in then you both said your good byes and both headed toward your rooms. You entered yours and seen some fresh towels on the counter. There was a note as well. It read ' Please let the sevants do anything you need. I told them not to let you do anything as you are our guest. Thank you. - Gaara.' You giggled and there was another letter in an envelope. It read your name but you decide to read it after you took a shower and ate dinner. You grabbed the fresh towels and headed to the bath.
