When the world is upside down, it's easy to fall through the sky, every object distorted, every sound muffled. The rush of blood to my head brings a numbing tingle down my spine. Even though I can't see, and I can't hear, there is a certain calmness in that moment, a calmness I can't get anywhere else. falling through the sky, feeling the world pull me harder to bring me back up, feeling the breath leave my body, my skin turning blue, as the vacuum of space drains me of my warmth. And in that deafness and blindness of the void that is space,I had a thought I never had before maybe I don't wanna be happy.
