Farewell speech

The Headmistress , respected teacher so the staff members and my dear friends .

For last couple of weeks , I was eagerly awaiting for this day , supposedly the last day of our school life . But ....the day approached and i became very tense ....and sentimental too .

Because this day does not mark only the end of our school life , but its also the day we will be departing from this beloved institution with which we have been tied for last 12 years . We have attachments with the gate , the office , the Ganesh idol , the hall , the staircase , the classroom , the benches and the blackboards . The very idea of our disassociation from the non living things is suffocating .

I have no words to express my feeling about our teaching and faculty . Right from junior kg till today , they have literally nurtured us , moulded us but in return of what ?

They only want us to be a good citizen of this country . They have created a base amongst us on which we have to build our careers . They will all be awaiting to hear about our success stories in days to come .

Dear friends , it is time for all of us to act now . Our every success will sense as a piece of pride for our teachers . We have all gathered here for farewell . We assure you teachers that we will always FARE WELL in years to come .
