Peter Parker walked into an empty alley. He wore his super suit and a camera rested in his hands. Peter had planned to get some more photos of Spiderman. Good photos. Photos that would make him money."Okay." Peter laid the camera down in front of him. He backed up against the wall and began to pose. He posed any way he could think of. He just needed new photos, photos worthy of being in the newspaper. Peter tried to pose nonchalantly (as if the photo was taken unexpectedly). This proved to be unsuccessful. Peter thought he looked ridiculous. "No, that's stupid." He whispered to himself as he thought of more poses. "How about-" Peter paused as he heard a loud bang. A gunshot echoed from across the street. In an immediate reaction, Peter webber the camera to the nearby brick wall. He made his way out of the alley and attempted to locate where the sound came from.
Looking around, Peter's eyes landed on Jewelry store. Through the glass Peter could see what seemed to be two robbers being taken down by that new vigilante. "That ice guy..." Peter scoffed. "how the hell does he get there so fast?" He rolled his eyes from behind his mask. This new vigilante got on Peter's nerves. He was everywhere. How the hell was he everywhere?
Peter retrieved his camera from out of the webs. He cleaned it off and aimed it at the restaurant. At least that Dean wasn't here to steal his shot. Peter took a photo of the shop. Jameson would definitely want this photo on the cover of one of his newspapers.
Peter continued to take photos. He noticed that once the vigilante caught this robber, he immediately made his exit. He didn't stay and wait for the cops, he didn't ask anyone if they were okay, he just left.
Peter put the camera away, webbing it onto the wall once more. He walked out of the alley and swung away. He followed this vigilante; it was easy to. This vigilante left an ice trail. He couldn't hide.
Peter approached the roof of a building. This was where the ice trail led. Peter stepped as softly and as quietly as he possibly could. He would usually search the area for signs of heat, but he didn't have the Stark suit anymore. Peter looked around to see that the roof looked pretty empty. He almost thought that maybe the new hero wasn't there... all until he heard a voice come from behind him.
"Why the hell are you following me, man?"
Peter jumped up in fright. "Jeez!" He backed up as he turned to look at the vigilante. "You scared me, man!"
"Why are you following me?" The vigilante questioned again. Peter was taken aback for a minute. He didn't even know how to respond to the question. He was most likely in the wrong. Peter felt like a creep. "I- I wanted to talk to you." Peter answered with a stutter.
The new vigilante nodded very carelessly. " 'bout what?"
"About this situation." Peter told him and the hero tilted his head slightly. "There's a situation?"
"Yes. Look, New York isn't big enough for two hero's. Maybe we could split this place up. You'll have your territory, and i'll have mine." Peter offered. "Look, i'll even let you have first pick. Sound like a deal?"
"No..." The ice hero shook his head with a laugh. "No, that doesn't sound like a deal. Are-" He jerked his head back. "Are you upset i'm making your job easier?"
"Easier?" Peter questioned with a scoff. "Dude, you're taking my job away from me completely." He pointed to him with frustration. "You're making this impossible for me-" Peter paused as a light flashed. "Did-" Peter looked back at the vigilante. "Did you see that?"
"Nope." He shook his head. "Also.. you do know that New York's a big city with a huge crime rate-?" The vigilante began but was interrupted by Peter. "So is Chicago. Maybe go there?"
