Peter waited at a bench outside of Oscorps Industries. He tapped his foot anxiously as he waited for Dean to show up. God, he hated feeling this way. His chest felt so heavy.

He stretched trying to avoid the feeling.

"Hey, man..." Dean approached him. He had on his winter jacket and a hoodie under. He had his long hair in a bun. "I see you're early."

"Ha." Peter laughed as he stood up. "You're late. I'm on time."

Dean chuckled softly. "Maybe..." He examined Peter's clothing. "God, Peter, I told you to dress casual."

Peter had on a button up shirt under an unzipped jacket. He had his hair gelled and he wore dress shoes with the nicest pants in his closest.

"What's wrong?" Peter looked down at his clothes cluelessly. Dean shook his head as he touched Peter's hair. "Maybe that you've used the entire hair gel bottle."

"I didn't-" Peter defended himself.

Dean winked with a click sound. "Don't worry about it, Pete." He told him as he ran his fingers through his hair. "You still look good." Dean took another look at Peter. "Yeah..." He gave him a pat. "You still look good."

"Thanks." Peter nodded.

Dean gave Peter a distracted look. He stared at Peter's face. He stared at the small details he hadn't noticed before. He noticed the crinkles around his eyes and the singular brown dots on his face. Dean then nodded. "Come on. Harry must be waiting on us."

"Alright." Peter nodded. He hadn't noticed Deans staring. Which was funny considering Dean was overthinking it. He would've just died of embarrassment if Peter had noticed those stolen glances.

"Hey, guys!" A teenage boy walked out of the building and down the first few steps. It was the one and only, Harry Osborn. He was a teenage boy with curly blondish-brown hair and green eyes. He had on round glasses, and he wore a winter jacket with a red scarf around his neck.

"Hey, Harry." Dean smiled and Harry did the same. "Hey, man." He turned to Peter. "You must be Peter. Oh, man, i've been really excited to meet you."

Peter noticed Harry had a strong accent. He smiled. "Same, here." He shook his hand. "Where are you from?"

"Oh, we came from Michigan." He said and Peter gave him a nod as their hands departed. "Wow, that's a big change of setting. How are you liking New York?"

"It certainly is." Harry conversated. "Well, I didn't like it too much at first, but I think i'm getting used to it by now."

"Well, it's a great city. I'm sure you'll feel right at home in no time." Peter smiled and Harry nodded. "Im sure... so, what kind of look are you looking for, Peter?"

"Well, i'll take anything as long as it pays good." Peter told him as they began to walk. "Preferably something in the mornings though."

"Okay...." Harry nodded. "I'm sure we can oblige- you don't got a degree, is that right?"

"Yeah..." Peter nodded a little embarrassed. "I- I cant say I have much of anything. I just finished my GED."

"Oh, that's more than fine, man." Harry reassured him. "We'll have a spot for you here. We pride ourselves on being accommodating."

Dean stared at Peter's slightly embarrassed expression. Dean gave him a small pat. "Come on, isn't that nice to hear, Pete?"

"Yeah, it's nice." Peter nodded. "What do you got for me?" He turned to Harry who smiled. "Well, I had an assistant job in mind. Your work'd be in the lab, but I can't say you'd do much science. You'd be more observing and helping out Dr Conners."
