[1.47 p.m] 

⇀ domestic!Y/n with her son who refuses to eat his vegetables

"You have to try"

"No!"

"Aww come on bud, please? Mommy made this for you a-"

"No!!!!"

You pursed your lip, a hand holding your son's tiny fork up mid-air. This has gone on for 15 minutes, convincing your son to eat a plate of mac and cheese with broccoli in it. Something Rose had thought of when thinking that she should incorporate more vegetables in his diet.

"Park Minjae, your mommy expect me to feed you these delicious broccolies before she comes back from the market so please help mama out" You whined, pushing the fork closer to your son's mouth.

In retaliation, Minjae crossed his arms and pout even deeper at his mom, "how'd you know it's not good? You don't even eat vegetables!!" You said as he tried to wiggle himself off his high chair to run away.

But  Y/n beat him to the punch, grabbing his tiny body and fixing his position with scolding gaze, "I do eat vegetables, just not bokhley" the little pout on Minjae's face and his mispronunciation of the vegetable would've melt Y/n's whole demeanor, but the thought of disappointing Rose won over.

Trying once again, Y/n held the fork that has a piece of broccoli on it up to Minjae's mouth, "try it, please" you whined, "or else your mommy will be mad at me"

Even though he really didn't want to, proven by how his bottom lip is jutted out and eyebrows furrowed so deep, Minjae felt sorry that his mom had to resort to begging just to get him to eat. And then he thought about how his mommy was so giddy on trying this recipe earlier in the morning.

Reluctantly, Minjae opened his mouth for his you to put the vegetable in.

Seeing this, you immediately took the chance and put the broccoli in Minjae's mouth. At first he chewed slowly with a disgusted face, expecting it to taste like the bland, green-tasting boiled broccoli his uncle Yunho once made him try.

But he was utterly surprised at how good it is. Perhaps it's the cheese, or maybe his mom's magic touch.

When Minjae opened his mouth again, you were about to put in a piece of chicken or macaroni but Minjae whined loudly and shook his head, "Mama no!" He proceed to grab his mom's waaaaay larger hand with both of his own then move it towards a piece of broccoli, stab it, and put it in his mouth.

You squealed internally when you saw your son eating the food that he was so reluctant to eat just 5 minutes ago. Y/n felt a sense of pride that her son is starting to grow.

"Okay Mama," he called after finishing chewing, "your turn," Minjae then poke the largest piece of broccoli on his plate and shove it in his mom's mouth who almost choke at the sudden intrusion.

Minjae giggled, clapping his hands when Y/n began chewing with a narrowed look at his son, "you little rascal" you muttered before starting to poke your son's tummy playfully.

"Okay, let's finish this all up to show your mommy that I'm also useful during meal time"
