Jennie POV
I smiled as I skipped down the hallway. I passed by numerous people carrying giant teddy bears and boxes of chocolate accompanied by a simple rose. Valentine's Day. The day of love .
I continued to skip down the hallway, a content smile on my face even though I had no one to share this special day with. My crush{ not a crush tho love~ } obviously doesn't like me back, but I decided that I need to focus on the good for today and not the bad.
Speaking of my cru- love, there she is nearby. She's hanging out with her friend Nayeon by her locker, and I can't help but feel the sting of jealousy in my heart.
I shrugged it off, though, knowing that I'll find my special one eventually, no matter what.
I reached my locker, and I started patiently entering my code. I twisted the lock over and over to enter in the correct numbers. When it snapped open, I smiled contently and I pulled open my locker door. I reached inside to pull out my history book, but instead I was met with the sight of a light pink envelope being enclosed by a small heart sticker.

It was written in nice handwriting. I felt the heat in my face rise even if I hadn't read it yet. My smile grew 10x larger and I couldn't contain my excitement as I started peeling the sticker off to open the envelope. Once I succeeded, I pulled out the piece of paper inside and started reading.
My heart was beating faster than it's ever beaten before. I can only imagine how pink my face is currently as I start hurriedly closing my locker. My smile hasn't faded even a little bit as I start running through the halls in a rush.
I reach my destination, and my grin grew, if that was even possible. My eyes landed on the love of my life, Y/n, carefully putting her notebook in her messy locker. I couldn't hold back my excitement as I ran to her. I placed my hand on her shoulder and she turned to look at me.
"J-Jennie?" She stuttered; a light blush evident on her cheeks. She noticed I was holding the love letter in my hand, and her blush got a tad bit brighter. The close distance between us didn't help either.
"Y/n..." I started, catching her attention. Her eyes told me to go on, so l did. "I love you. I always have," I tell her. the happiness sparkling in them as slight tears start to form.
She was about to say something, but I didn't allow her. I smashed my lips against hers wrapping my arms around her waist, she wrapped her arms around my neck. I kissed her as if it was my last day of living, my last time seeing her. I savored the precious flavor of her lips as she passionately kissed back. Neither of us could hold back our smiles as our lips moved in sync.
We eventually separated to get breath, soft pants escaping both our mouths. Joy was circular in both of our systems as we stared lovingly into each other's eyes, ignoring the people staring at us nearby.
"I love you Y/n" I told her.
"I love you too Jennie" she replied blushing. Cute...
"Happy Valentine's Day Love" I replied giving a soft peck on her nose.
