After a year of waiting, my girl was finally ready for me. It all felt so unreal, I was moving into an apartment with the love of my life.

Me and y/n are finally beginning our new lives together, I found an apartment in downtown Vancouver for us to live in until we find an actual home.
"Are you sure you'll be okay out on your own?" My mom asks, holding me by the shoulders.
"Yes mom I'll be fine, I'm 20 now. And I won't be on my own I have y/n."
"I'm very happy for you guys. I really wish you both the best."
"Thanks mom. I gotta go now, y/n's waiting for me."
"Okay, well good luck. I love you Finn."
"I love you too mom, bye!"
"Bye sweetie."
I give my mom a huge hug before waking out the door.

After I arrived I knocked on her front door 3 times and was greeted by her mother.
"Hi dear, y/n is almost done with packing. She's upstairs."
"Okay, thank you Mrs y/l/n"
I walked up the stairs and knocked on y/n's bedroom door before entering.
"Hi baby." She says.
"Hey love. Are you excited?"
"Im so excited, I'm finally starting a life with the boy of my dreams." she says, putting a box down and sitting next to me on her bed.
"And I get to start a life with the girl of my dreams."
"Im the girl of your dreams?"
"Duh," I laugh, "I love you so much."
"I love you too baby."
She stands up and walks over to the corner of her room, placing a few items in the very last box and taping it shut.
"I uh, I think I'm ready to go."
"Baby are you sure you're ready for this? I don't want you doing anything you aren't sure about."
"I'm positive that I want to do this with you Finn, it's just that it's a big step you know? It's kinda hard if I'm being completely honest."
"Yeah. I know how you feel. Saying goodbye to my parents today was the hardest thing I've ever done. But I know it's going to be worth it.
"I love you so much." She reminds me, smiling.
I hold her cheek in my hand and pull her in to kiss her, "I love you too'" I say, "now let's get going, I can't wait!"
I helped y/n carry her few boxes to the car.
After y/n says her goodbyes to her parents as well as myself, we get in the car. And soon enough, arrive at the apartment.

Skipping all the boring shit, we ended up getting absolutely nothing done that day, we just laid down on the couch for the entire day snuggled up together.
What a time...
