A week went by since Seokjin confessed his feelings to Namjoon, and they did their best in keeping the healthy distance Namjoon needed in those moments. As much as he felt like an asshole, he didn't regret his confession since it lifted that awfully heavy weight off of his chest.
They did a great job at pretending nothing was wrong in the groupchat, but when it came to real life, it got really tough especially for Namjoon. Even though his mind was made up the moment he heard those words come out of Seokjin's mouth, he needed time to prepare for the break-up. He didn't have the heart to do that to Taehyung and for the first time in ages, Namjoon had no idea what to say.
He did so much for him for those couple of months they've been together and achieving his dreams wouldn't be possible without all the support he got from him. Taehyung thaught him how to believe in himself, love himself and accept his flaws and Namjoon tried his best to do the same for him but now it all seemed worthless.
The love he had for Seokjin was unconditional and endless. Namjoon's nervousness and confusion in a way, led to many fake excuses and lies in order to avoid close contact with Taehyung since the guilt he felt was unbearable, and he quickly started noticing his obvious change of behaviour. Needless to say, it started driving him crazy. So he seeked help from the one and only, who was somehow still sane, Yoongi.
