Katniss smirked as she held hands with Chaff and Peeta as the lights went out. 'This is the first step to freedom," Finnick thought as he was pushed into an elevator with his fellow District 4 four tribute, Mags. As he walked onto the floor that they had been allowed to share, Finnick headed straight to the bar, where he poured two glasses of wine. "Here," he said, handing a glass to Mags. " You're going to need it." They both headed to the soft plum-coloured couch, where Mags threw her feet onto Finnick's lap and let out a short, bark-like laugh. "That girl is beginning to believe. She is beginning to believe that Panem will be a better place after all this. We just need her to keep sparking and hope that she can become a raging fire!" Finnick smiled as Mags said that. He has known Panem to be a dreadful place. He knows that President Snow will show no mercy to anyone as long as he is in charge. "We will see what she does in the future. Soon we will know what plans she has for everyone." Mags drained her glass and stood up. She waved goodnight and shut the door to her room. Finnick thought about the next day for a while. He realised that Katniss had to be the one to win the Hunger Games. His face paled at the realisation that he would never see Annie again. Or Haymitch. Or Mags. Finnick drank the last of his wine and quickly poured another glass and swallowed that down too. He got in the elevator and pressed the button that said 'ROOF' on it. 'Maybe that will clear my head,' he thought as the elevator started to glide upwards. As he stepped out of the elevator doors, Finnick spotted a silhouette blocking some of the lights. The figure tensed up and their head whipped around to spot the intruder to their safe place. Their body relaxed as they saw Finnick. They smiled and said," Finnick! You surprised me! Come, take a seat here !" As Finnick sat down, he realised who the figure was.
