"Katniss? When did you figure out that there was a roof?" Finnick asked, turning to face her. Katniss chuckled before replying,"Haymitch showed me this place before my evaluation last year. He explained that no-one can throw themselves off the roof without them flying back up here." Finnick nodded and looked out to see the lights reflecting off the buildings in the Capitol. The two tributes sat in silence for a while before Finnick asked," Are you prepared enough for tomorrow?"Katniss looked at Finnick before answering him. "Is anyone really ready to fight for their lives? I would rather someone else came out of the arena so they could go back to their family." Finnick nodded in agreement but realised something. "Why don't you want to win these Games? Is it because you'd rather that Peeta won instead?" Katniss' eyebrows furrowed in thought. "I know why I don't want to win these Games. I'm tired of this life. I'm tired of President Snow ruling over everyone and killing innocent people. He has been sending 24 children to their deaths every year and no-one does anything about it. Can you see my frustration?" She reasoned as Finnick listened intently. He thought for a bit as Katniss gazed at him. Finnick knew the consequences of crossing President Snow very well. Finnick knew that if Katniss survived this year's Hunger Games and the rebellion didn't take off, President Snow would either sell her for her body or kill her family. Snow would kill the very reason that Katniss was in this mess in the first place. He would kill Prim. "Katniss, the whole of Panem is counting on You. They are hoping that you will succeed in the task that so many have died doing. They want you to defeat President Snow. No, they NEED you to kill President Snow. Because if you survive this Games, and you don't give the district's hope, then Snow will kill your family. He will sell you for your body without giving you a choice. Are you willing to try and fight for not just Panem's freedom, but for your freedom?" Katniss thought about his statement for a couple minutes before giving Finnick an answer. "I....
