"it's not there. Look just pull the drone up"John B said to me. "we can do another pass recharge the battery. we can go back down" Pope said.

 "We've done it 3 times. Nothings down there." I yelled."Shut up." Kie yelled at me. "What? it's true and you fuckin know it." I yelled back at her

. "the gold could be buried. we don't know."Kie yelled at me. "If it was there, it would've been found on the metal detector okay." John B yelled.

 "somebody beat us to it." John B said. "Or it was never there." i said to JJ. I pulled up the tether and we left.

John B took the boat to go back to his house. Kie and pope went home and JJ and I went to his house because his dad wasn't home.

 "ready for me to teach you how to shoot a gun." JJ said holding a gun. "JJ it's more like i teach you." I said taking the gun.

 I showed JJ how to hold a gun. "See and when you are ready you put your finger on the trigger and lightly pull." I said pulling the trigger.

 The gun fires and shoots the teddy bear right in the middle of the eyes. I handed JJ the gun and he started to have fun with it.

 he was mumbling to himself. "JJ,Valerie." Pope called to us. "Sup bro." I said. JJ shot the gun one more time and the bear fell off the tree stomp. 

JJ put the gun down with his finger still on the trigger. "Finger off the trigger." I said taking the gun."They know." Pope said.

 "What." JJ said. "They know." Pope said freaking out. "All right chill bro. they don't know shit." JJ said walking towards pope. 

"Topper know i sunk his boat." Pope said. "How do you know they know." I said trying to calm them down. 

"Because Rafe and Topper posted outside Heyward's today and mad dogged me." Pope said. JJ sat down on a log.

 "Will you calm down and get a grip man. they don't know shit." JJ said grabbing my waist and pulling me to his lap.

 "They have cameras. they could've have seen me." Pope said walking back and forth. "There was no power. how could they have seen you." I said. 

"It's figure Eight. They got Generators. They don't give scholarships to kids who vengefully sink boats. It's not gonna look good on my transcript."Pope yelled at me.

 "Enough with the regret bro." I yelled standing up in his face, "They caved your and Valerie's face." JJ said standing up also 

"They hit us, We hit them. It's the law of the jungle." I said walking away.

 "Now if any Kooks come up to you and ask if you had anything to do with it. you walk up to 'em and 'em right in the eye, and.." JJ said waiting for pope of finish his sentence.

 "Deny the living shit out of it." Pope said. "that's right deny,deny,deny." JJ said. I walked back to them. 

"But just for safety, we don't go anywhere without protection."JJ said. "No No No." I said stopping him. 

"No. i deal with the gun. Ya'll don't. " I said walking away. "Wait why. I know how to shoot the gun!" JJ yelled at me.

 "JJ Babe you're only a beginner. when you have enough training then we will talk about this topic again." I said shutting down the topic. 

We went to met up with Kie for the Keep, calm carry on back to OBX life.
