The search party has been looking for Jake gor a while now unable to find him. Most have already given up and the police have slowly lost hope as they looked for the man. It'd been 3 weeks of people none stop searching for Jake but failed to even find him.

Laurie was worried sick as she had never stopped looking for him. Loomis couldn't because he was trying to reason with the police to take the search futher but they would never allow. Because many people now believe that Jake was either dead or didn't even excist in the first place.

People where losing hope at this point. No one cared at this point. As long as Michael and Andrew Myers stayed away from their little town then why should they care. If the male was some sort of sacrifice to please the twins than why bother. Everyone was left alone being able to do their own things.

Unaware of the missing man trying to escape the brothers grasp. Not bothering to care about it. Just going on with their daily lives. Living like every day since the day they where born.

Loomis had given up at that point in finding Jake as he was getting to old. Is slowly dying because of his age. It was impossible for him to go anywhere and not end up being so stressed and anxious about everything. So he stayed in his big fancy home living in confort.

While Laurie was seen as wasting her time looking for a so called dead Man.
