J=because I'm not exactly a math wiz
Jesse=dad you can't do third grade math

J=oh okay umm how do I help
Jesse=it says 48 divided by 8
J=okay so divide it then
Jesse=but I don't like the 8 tables
J=well then why don't you put it in the box like your suppose to
Jesse=??
J=here put the 48 in the box and 8 on the outside 8 won't go into 4 so you move over and count how many times 8 goes into 48
Jesse=this is stupid
J=well too bad you still gotta do it
Jesse=why don't you do it for me
J=no son I'm not doing your homework you need to do it on your on
Jesse=why
J=because it's your homework and if I did it then you wouldn't learn anything
Jesse=I hate school
J=everybody hates school
Jesse=this is dumb
J=you can sit here and complain about it but that's not going to get you anywhere or you can figure it out
Jesse=whatever
Sophia=daddy
J=yes baby
Sophia="I got a boo boo"she said holding up her elbow
J=oh I'm sorry you'll be fine go play
Sophia=can you kiss it to make it feel better
J="sure"he said as he bent down and kissed her elbow "that feel better?"
Sophia=yes daddy
She ran away
H=hey babe
J=oh hey I'm glad your here because I'm so damn tired of your kids
H=my kids? You mean your kids
J=no hell no those little demons are yours
H=don't call them demons
J=that's what they are
Jesse=this is so stupid
H=what's he talking about
J=his math homework I'm already tried to help him he's just going to call it stupid the whole time so don't even try
H=okay then
Noah="dada"he said walking wobbly
J="hey buddy"he said picking him
H="what's my baby doing"she said tickling him with one hand
He started giggling
J=Jesse how that homework coming along
Jesse=horrible!
H=do you need help
Jesse=no it's dumb
J="what did I tell you"he said looking at Hailey
H=I need to drop off some of Noah's old infant clothes for Kim's baby
Kim had her and Adam baby a couple months ago his name is Rivers
J=okay you gonna take them now
H=yeah if you can watch the kids
J=yeah I can
H=okay
Jesse=can I ride with you
H=are you done with your homework
Jesse=I only have 2 more problems
H=okay then but when we get back you will finish that
Jesse=I know I will
H=go grab the box in the kitchen and put it in my car
Jesse=okay
Jesse and Hailey got in the car
H=alright buckle up
Jesse=I hate school
H=why
Jesse=because I'm stupid
H=your not stupid
Jesse=yes I am I can't even divide right
H=that just means that math doesn't come as easy for you
Jesse=yeah because I'm stupid
H=your smart in other things
Jesse=like what
H=science you are so good at that and you love it
Jesse=so I'm only not stupid in science
H=stop saying your stupid because your not, there's a lot of smart kids who have to study hard
Jesse=but Makayla doesn't have to she always knows how to do it without even trying
H=because it comes easy for her
Jesse=that's not fair
H=I know it's not but life's not fair
Jesse=will you help me with it dad's not a good helper
Hailey chuckled
H=I'm sure he's not but I'll be happy to help you if you can promise one thing
Jesse=what's the one thing
H=promise me you won't call yourself stupid again
Jesse=okay I won't
They pulled up at Kim and Adam house
KB=hey guys
H=hey I brought the baby clothes
KB=thank you so much
Jesse=where's Makayla
KB=she's in her room the baby is sleeping so try to be quiet when you go there
Jesse="okay"he said walking to her room
H=so how's it been
KB=well he's not sleeping through the night
H=oh that sucks Noah didn't either
KB=but besides that it's been fine just adjusting from one kid to two kids and kind of worried that I'm not giving Makayla enough attention
H=that's normal j was worried about the same thing when I had Sophia
KB=but Makayla loves him so much
H=oh that reminds me I forgot to tell you the other day J was grilling and the kids and I were playing outside and I was with Noah on the play set and Sophia was with Jesse on the trampoline and guess what Sophia did to Jesse
KB=what did she do
H="she punched him in the nuts"she said holding back laughter
KB="she did not!"she said laughing
H=yes she did and poor Jesse I saw it she punched him so hard
KB=what did he do
H=he fell down crying with his hands between his legs
KB=poor thing!
H=I know I felt so bad for him
KB=did you put Sophia in timeout
H=yeah I did and of course she was mad about that
KB=that's hilarious but I feel so bad for Jesse
H=yeah she beats him up all the time
They stayed talking for about 1 hour while Makayla and Jesse played then they headed back home
J=hey that was a little while
H=yeah we got caught up I was letting Jesse and Makayla play a little bit while I talked to Kim
Jesse=are you going to help me with my homework
H=yeah I am cmon
J=I put Noah and Sophia down for a nap they were both cranky
Later that night
J=so how did the homework go
H=he just needs help with it and he acts like you
J=what does that mean
H=he's stubborn gets frustrated easily
J=I am not stubborn
H=sure
J=I'm not
H=whatever you say
J="you know what we haven't had fun in a while"he said putting his hand in her shirt
H="I like what your thinking"she said pulling his pants off
