   i continued talking with cassie, lexi, and kat, until i saw teegan walk in. he glared at me and i just watched as he found his group of friends and started talking with them.

"really, (y/n)? now you? stop glaring at him." kat said.

i slowly looked away from him, but felt his gaze still on me. "just ignore him." cassie stated.

   i shook my head and glanced back to see him still glaring at me. he started walking over to our table, so i got up and found the bathroom. i was not about to argue with this man again.

   jules and rue were on their way out of the bathroom, but stopped when they saw me, "everything good?" jules said.

   "just teegan." i rolled my eyes and they both nodded, then continued out of the bathroom.

   i walked into a stall and just scrolled through my phone for a minute. i was honestly kind of excited for this dance, but if teegan won't leave me the fuck alone, this was not going to be fun.

   i got a text from kat, then opened our messages.

kat: i told him to leave you the fuck alone, so he walked away

   i headed out of the bathroom, but got stopped by a girl who grabbed my wrist.

"stay the hell away from teegan. he's mine and im the one who came here with him." she said through gritted teeth.

"first of all get the fuck off me," i pulled my arm out of her grasp, "second of all, i will gladly stay away from that boy. you can have him."

"tell him you don't want him."

"i've been trying, goddamn, tell him yourself." i left the bathroom, but she followed me out.

she pushed me and i stumbled, but then turned around, "what the fuck?! i told you i don't fucking want him, bitch." i slapped her, then she pushed me again.

kat quickly came over and pulled me away from her, before anyone had a chance to crowd around us.

   "if you don't want him, why the fuck does he have so many fucking pictures of you in his goddamn phone?" she crossed her arms.

   i pushed kat's arm away and my eyes widened, "what..?" i said in disbelief, "what the hell are you talking about?" i just looked at the girl.

   i looked over to kat, who looked back at me with the same look. i looked around, but teegan was nowhere to be found and the girl i was arguing with had walked away. i think she was left just as confused as i was.

"what the fuck?" i looked at kat, then behind me at lexi, cassie, and maddy. i was honestly terrified knowing that someone i thought i knew and had trust in was someone i really didn't know at all.

   "holy shit.." lexi said.

   maddy started looking around and cassie took notice, "maddy.."

   maddy spotted teegan and glared at him before heading towards him.

   "maddy!" cassie followed her. i didn't follow because i didn't want to be anywhere near teegan.

"i think we should go.." kat suggested. i nodded, "that sounds good."

"cassie and i can drive you." lexi offered, "i kind of wanna leave too."

i got into the back seat of cassie's car while lexi got into the passenger's seat. lexi pulled out her phone and sent a text to cassie.

"sorry this is happening to you.." lexi turned around to look at me.

"it's not your fault." i slumped against the back of the seat.

"it still fucking sucks. it makes sense that he used to be friends with nate." she tried to lighten the mood, which i appreciated.

"yeah, that whole group of guys seems pretty fucked up." i said, half joking.

she nodded, "we should hang out sometime, you seem cool."

"thanks! you too," i smiled, "i don't know why we haven't honestly. you seem so chill, like a breathe of fresh air."

"i try." she laughed, "i really do try to stay out of the drama, though."

"i've noticed.. that's not a bad idea. it's good advice, actually. i always seem to get caught in drama." i looked out the window to see cassie and maddy approaching the car.

maddy opened the back door and i slid over.

"are you okay?" cassie turned to me from the driver's seat.

i nodded, "i'm good, just lowkey weirded-out as fuck."

"yeah, well if he hadn't been such a pussy and left before i got over to him, i'd say you wouldn't have to worry about him anymore." maddy said.

it was silent for a moment before cassie spoke, "wanna find a party?"

maddy looked at me and raised an eyebrow. i nodded, "why not?"

cassie pulled out of the parking lot, then handed lexi her phone, "look at my snap, i'm sure someone posted something about a party somewhere."

maddy pulled out the gatorade bottle, which hardly had anything left, and took a quick sip. she handed it to me, "you can finish it.. you need it."

i took it from her and chugged the rest, then cringed, "this really is fucking gross." i said and maddy laughed.

i handed the bottle back to maddy and she put the cap back on, then put it in her bag. "find anything?" maddy asked and sat back up.

"i think so.. just getting the address." lexi responded.

"we should invite kat." i said, then crossed my arms and laid my head on maddy's shoulder.

"nah, she was waiting for ethan." maddy said.

"wait, i thought they broke up?" lexi asked.

"yeah, but she wanted to see him." cassie shrugged.
