lexi and i pretty much talked the entire weekend and spent most of sunday actually going for that bike ride.

i was starting to think about it more.. am i really in love with maddy? maybe i'm not.

at school, lexi and i didn't tell any of our friends about this, but honestly i don't think we even knew what was between us. i think it's kind of like that lesbian thing where you both are like 99.9% sure you like each other, but no one says anything because of that .1% chance you're wrong.

"hey!" lexi walked up to my locker. "you didn't hear from teegan again, did you?"

   "no, thank god."

   teegan texted me a few times on saturday, but stopped sunday morning, probably because he realized i wasn't going to respond.

"i haven't seen him in class this week, like, at all, which is kinda weird." i added and closed my locker.

"yeah.. that is kinda weird." lexi scratched her head.

"yeah, i'm trying not to worry about him, though. i'm hoping he just finally got over me or something."

   "heyy!" maddy, excitedly walked up to lexi and i. "since it's the last day of school before christmas break, i was wondering if you guys would wanna have a sleepover at my place."

   "sure!" i smiled.

   "who else is going?" lexi asked.

   "just cass and kat." maddy shrugged and lexi nodded.

   "no jules? do you know where she's been? i haven't seen much of her this week." i asked both maddy and lexi.

   "i don't know where that bitch is, girl." maddy looked at me.

   "i know, i haven't seen her at all.. not even with rue." lexi added.

   "i'll text her again." maddy shrugged, "and i'll text you guys later." she smiled and walked away.

   lexi turned back to me, "cassie and i can drive you to maddy's if you want."

   "and by that you mean cassie, right?" i joked and she shook her head, "kidding, i'd love that." i smiled, "thank you."

"truth or dare?" cassie looked at kat.

"i literally just said i'm not playing." kat was typing away on her phone.

"what are you even doing?" i asked.

kat shrugged, "i got back together with ethan."

"what?!" everyone said at the same time.

"bitch, why didn't you tell us?!" maddy stood up from where she sat on her bed.

"cuz we, like, just got back together, like.. just now."

"like right now?!" i looked at her.

"like right now." kat repeated, "i need to go call him."

"go!" cassie smiled, excitedly.

"that bitch." maddy joked as kat stepped out of the room.

   i sat down next to lexi, since i noticed she was quieter than usual, "everything good?"

   she nodded, "of course."

i noticed maddy and cassie make a look at each other. "uh, i need something from downstairs. come with me, maddy." cassie said, then they both left the room.

lexi and i both rolled our eyes. "sorry about her." lexi laughed.

"it's all good."

   "soo..." lexi hugged her knees to her chest, "when i get back from my grandma's for christmas, we should go for another bike ride.. i mean, if you want." she said, nervously.

   "yeah.. that'd be great. it was really fun." i said and lexi looked at me, "really?"

   i nodded, then kat walked back into the room, "where's cass and maddy?"

i shrugged, "who knows."

"kat!" cassie reprimanded her as she walked back into the room.

"what? i'm not allowed in the room?" kat turned to cassie and maddy.

"forget it." cassie sat on maddy's bed.

   maddy had turned on music in the background while we were all talking. she started singing the lyrics to the song and we all started dancing around her room.

   'baby, watcha wishin for?' we all sang.

   'maybe you should wish it more.' i pointed at maddy.

   'maybe the world is yours.' maddy briefly cupped my cheeks and sang, then turned to cassie and spun her around, while singing the next lyrics and my heart fluttered.

   ah fuck.

at least i knew the answer to my question i guess...

i was definitely in love with maddy.
